DAMN HE'S HARD![edit]
I keep trying with henchies heroes but I can't beat him!!!!!
He's with:
[Cracked Mesa ]
They are all level 24!!!!!! Any Suggestions?
(I'm Level 17, Probably the reason why)
- Yeah, it's because you're level 17. A few extra monsters level 24 shouldn't matter. The boss is far from the easiest, but also far from impossible. calor (talk) 22:41, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- If you have it, use Pain Inverter as it will take much of his life die to his nuking. --MageMontu 22:44, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- Also, Extinguish and Breath of the Great Dwarf may result useful. --MageMontu 22:45, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- Or, you could load up some heroes with interruption skills, I personally tested it to make sure, and Searing Flames gives your heroes enough time to interrupt fairly easy, but make sure you bring some heavy healing/condition removing power because the two monsters with him aren't exactly a joke.--MxBadBoy 06:30, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, I must admit, he was tough, but I succeeded with no interrupts or Pain Inverter, but with a good damage dealing build, and a couple of good monks, it makes it much easier. I was in Hard Mode too.--Somerand0m
I don't know enough about this wiki stuff to want to do it myself, but someone may want to add that this guy drops firey dragon swords. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:97.114.167.81 (talk).
- Everything after a certain point drops them. So it's a common drop. But we don't list common drops. de Kooning 17:30, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Hard Mode[edit]
Any tips for doing this with H/H on hard mode? Every time he just wipes my party instantly with Searing Flames before I can do anything. No time to micro-manage heroes or anything. I get the feeling he needs a human party to beat realistically. Astralphoenix777 04:16, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's quite difficult in HM; his Liquid Flame hit my 86AL Paragon for 400+ damage...I just barely beat him by using SY/TNtF. Try taking out the other 2 foes in his party first before you wipe, or bring Odurra/interupt H/H.Phtb 15:14, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Consider the suicide squad anti-boss strategy: charge in with Pain Inverter. Put wards up, interrupt, and otherwise mitigate the damage as necessary to avoid a total party wipe; even hench reflexes won't stop every spell getting out, and you'll still easily hit the 80 pt damage cap after protting. It has served me well on Afflicted Yijo, Borrguus Blisterbark, Joffs the Mitigator, Korshek the Immolated, and now this guy. -- Hong 17:14, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Did it with a friend using Pain Inverter and 6 heroes. He went in first, applied PI and took the brunt of SF and Liquid Flame, and then my group did the rest. Still seems silly-hard with H/H only though. Astralphoenix777 00:09, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- This guy was actually pretty simple with H/H. He doesn't have a big group (like Korshek), he doesn't have crazy damage reduction (like Joffs), and his mob doesn't also have the same crazy damage output as he does (like Korshek, Borrguus and Droajam). One thing with these bosses: are you using superior/major runes? If so, get rid of them. You want as much health as possible to survive the blasts, and any marginal increase in power isn't worth the health loss. -- Hong 09:27, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm a little confused about the 400+ damage output number. I haven't done the trig calculations for damage, but fire magic 21 searing flames does 136 damage. I can believe it's more than that because half my party was instagib'd, but how, exactly? Sahjiarah 08:14, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Bosses deal double damage, and level difference also increases it. Jeree95 07:28, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Easiest Boss Ever (Hard Mode)[edit]
One word: Pain Inverter --65.0.128.19 16:15, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, does the trick. Helps if you have minions to further multiply the damage dealt back to the Boss. Darwin Iznang 05:03, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
