You could use the Mantra of Earth to reduce the Assassin's attacks that deals elemental damage, since the only elemental attack they can do is Earth. If I could get a confirmation on this. ShadowFog 16:48, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Actually, its really an error. If you unlock any skill, it will appear in any skill trainner. This page should list only the trainners where you don't need the skill unlocked. User:Sammy Alcarin 22:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Unlocked skills only appear at skill trainers in their respective campaigns. Unlocked Factions skills would appear in Shing Jea Monastery, for instance, but not in Ascalon City or Kamadan. I'm not sure how this works with Eye of the North. --RoyHarmon 20:54, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Mantra of Earth and Armor of Earth

Is the order in which you cast Mantra of Earth and Armor of Earth important for the damage reduction?

Unlikely. Assuming MoE is used first, at 15 Inspiration (for simplicity's sake) Earth damage is reduced by 50%, then AoE kicks in and that damage is multiplied by about 0.4 (12 EM giving +53 armour = 113). With AoE first in the line-up, damage is multiplied, then halved by the mantra. With an idealised spell dealing 100 earth damage at 60AL, you'd take 20 damage either way; order only really matters with enchants or stances that reduce incoming damage by a flat amount (e.g Shielding Hands), rather than a percentage.
