Talk:Maw the Mountain Heart
location in Dreadnought's Drift, really fixed?[edit]
It appears that in some rare circumstances he also doesn't appear there. One of my Guild Members said that he wouldn't be at the statue of Dwayna, and that he walked the way at the top around, but Maw didn't pop up. When he re-entered, he finally found Maw. —ZerphaThe Improver 18:04, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- I was just there, and he spawned really near the Statue, where there is a small group of Tundra Giants (not on the snowy road uphill). 217.132.107.162 12:00, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- That's where he spawned for me too. Lord Zepherr 16:03 July 24, 2009 (UTC)
- 2 Years Later... Maw didn't spawn for me.; \ 67.77.74.246 18:23, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- He just spawned for me, I'd say there are greater odds for him to spawn there (did it in HM) 77.166.207.18 12:15, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Lornar's Pass[edit]
I found him not only where the Pinesoul boss normally appears, but after the Mountain Troll cave in the wurm field. I have noticed his appearance there many times and suggest someone to add it as a location. I would, but I think it'd be better if someone verified it. --Gah The Epic 21:23, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Cyndr's tail?[edit]
Could it be that this is cyndr's other end? the names are alike. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.131.5.23 (talk • contribs) at 15:29 2 February 2009 (UTC).
- ...Tail? I don't think you have any idea how worms (or wurms) work. They're similar in size, so they get the same title: Mountain Heart. 173.67.9.113 23:59, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- No Cyndr is the other end of Maw. :D--Tyri Sunbeam 22:53, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Your both wrong, Cyndr is Maw's evil half brother. Duh! The Only Warrior 15:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

The Picture[edit]
Um...the picture isn't Maw the Mountain Heart. Maw the Mountain Heart is green, scary, and most importantly one of the most graphically amazing-est creatures in the game. Why is this poor wimpy-looking EOTN wurm here? ^^ Than 03:35, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- it uses the same model of a frost wurm. boss auras are usually neglected when an image of the model without any background is available. —ZerphaThe Improver 21:36, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ran to Maw's spawn point and took a screenie so it looks like Maw does rather than generic frost wurm. Kyubiko 06:19, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
getting FoC[edit]
if planning on getting feast of corruption from it, I recommend not to start from Beacon's Perch. takes longer, it's harder and when entering dreadnoughts you'll have this big fight to start with. just much easier coming from the south =) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 91.182.124.53 (talk) at 03:36, 10 January 2012 (UTC).
- Yeah, I've made the run to Dreadnought's quite a few times from camp rankor on just a warrior with Sprint, IAU + something like holy veil for the ice golem in the troll corridor. Leaves 5 skills for damage. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 08:53, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
