i agree, who designed these? all dragon masks look like crap. no one would want these and it pisses me off that they auto-collect tokens for this mask. id rather spend it on alcohol prizes

That pisses you off? You are aware that you can put the tokens in your storage chest so they won't be auto-collected, or store them in a character's inventory that you're not attending the event with, right? C0Zm1c 16:50, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Armor Clipping

With Elite Luxon armor

This mask clips several male Necromancer armors with high collars. Tested with: Monument, Elite Luxon, Vabbian, Norn and Elite Sunspear. Worst clipping is on Vabbian, the least noticeable is on Elite Luxon and Norn. I'm sure it clips others, but these are the ones I have available to test it with. Despite its clipping issues, the mask looks awesome paired with Elite Luxon armor. :) -- Tekn0mancer (

Inevitable Optimism

I like it. It certainly looks mirthful, and it's big and over-the-top and the colors are nice. As well as that the lack of protrusions all over the place make it look much cleaner than last year's mask and help to accentuate the details that it DOES have, like the horns and the streaks running down the sides. And the eyes are very well done (which is usually the part about these masks that looks odd to me) in such a way that does make it look like it's laughing. I'd argue that this is one of the best DF masks. Ooh, *realization*, it looks painterly. Worst Glitch EVER

I put on the mask, and didn't like it right? So, I put on another mask....and it said i was wearing the other mask, but it showed up as the mirthful mask. So i logged out, logged back in and same thing, i chose hide mask and it wouldnt come off....i'm not feeling very Mirthful Anet...

Animated During Cinematics

Just ran Moddok Crevice while wearing this mask and during the cinematics when my character would speak, the lower jaw of the mask moved with his speech. I mapped to the HoM and played The First Vision from the Scrying Pool to test it again and saw the same thing. The effect was to make it look as if the dragon was speaking; do any of the other full-coverage masks (Dragon, Charr, etc.) exhibit this behavior?
