Translation[edit]

Moles in Greek means "Olives" and Quibus means "In which a cord" making Moles Quibis mean "A cord of Olives"--Treesbyty 23:07, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I did more research and have found in Latin it Means "Which is Troublesome" or "Who is Annoying"--Treesbyty 23:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
"Which is Troublesome" sounds like a much better translation, especially given that it's a mesmer boss, than "Mass in Which". Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 02:14, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Either that, or the titan is trying to fry your brain with mind-spells and words that make no sense. Paddymew 21:57, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

moved from Moles Quibus

"In Latin, "moles" means "mass," "massive construction," and in the loosely even "trouble." "Quibus" is a relative pronoun ("in which" or "with which," plural). While normally it creates a sentence fragment ("the masses with which..."), by switching the word order around and considering that it is a Mesmer, it becomes "Which is Troublesome" or "Who is Annoying.""

I moved the text above off the main article since it is primarily about why we think the trivia statement is accurate and/or relevant rather than an actual bullet about the name. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:05, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
