Halcyon = Firefly, how?

The article claims that Halcyon is also a Firefly reference, but there's no explanation for this. Somebody explain it, or remove the note? Yanna Cor & family 06:27, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Every single crew member of the Halcyon is a reference to each the Firefly characters. Look up their pages if you don't believe me. King Neoterikos 07:01, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Oops wrong wiki. For starters, ANet are huge Firefly fans (Jayne Forestlight drops the unique Hammer Vera). Arani is Inara backwards. Caly is phoenetically the same as Kaylee. Hannai has the same lines as River. Ting is clearly a reference to Simon (skills, quotes). Rion is Mal, with Jo being Zoe (2nd in command). Khim and Ava are references to Jayne and Vera. Sao's quote suggests he's the Shepherd. And that leaves Perlo as Wash. King Neoterikos 07:07, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

H P Lovecraft reference also?

I agree with the Firefly references, but I think there's obvious references to the Cthulhu mythos as well. Cthulhu (Kanaxai) is a demonic god who resides under the sea and drives men mad, and is served by the "Deep Ones." Ebirah 03:26, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
