Vanquish count[edit]

I got 304 creatures in vanquish, more info would help with vanquish range.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:190.198.13.124 (talk).

On the topic of Vanquish, don't make the mistake I did, and overlook the exit to Vulture Drifts in the centre south of the zone. Took me an extra 25 mins of aimless confusion to spot my error. Puk 14:41, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

299 foes 64 minutes. This vanquish wasn't overly difficult so much as extremely tedious. I'd highly recommend setting up some music beforehand. The Scarabs are scary in larger pulls as are the Stone Elementals (Eruption). Basically, be careful around larger pulls of Elementalists or Necromancers. The one area with the Scarab boss has a ton of trappers around it. I'd highly recommend clearing out the patrols before engaging and flagging your heroes so they don't derp. You can easily lose 2-3 heroes there if not careful. Other than that catch the Hydra/Patrol boss and Minotaur patrols; had to take the teleporter in the NW near the Amnoon Oasis to clear out the last few mobs. Quite a few scarab pop ups. Went in with 2x ES, Ineptitude, Spirit Spam (me), ST & a BiP/Resto Necro.--LunarRXA (talk) 14:52, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

Teleporter[edit]

Hydra boss route[edit]

Does anyone have an idea of the patrol path the hydra boss takes? Took me ages to clear this area because I had to go looking for him. -- Hong 15:13, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

From what I have seen he/she/it runs from the first T intersection you get to from augry rock to the teleport pad that links you to the Oasis. I've seen the boss start from either end of that route and run between those two points... MrPaladin talk 15:31, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

295foes, 1hr 44min, vanq/maping. I cant tell you much about this zone as I was half falling asleep / auto running the walls to map. Balanced team would be ideal and know that enchants are going to get burnt frequently by jade's chilblains. The nest builders near kepkhet's section of the map can be annoying and the boss itself is a deadly group if you over aggro. There is an obscure group of scarabs on the norther edge of the map that you may miss so look there if you map doesnt look like you touched it as you may wonder if its even accesseble / it is. VERY FAST hydra boss patrol that runs a huge lap around the center but dont fret as its so fast that if you stand near the middle you will see it in under 3min(?). If you miss it theres almost zero chance you will catch it even with their stops. They move on by the time you catch up and it will look worse then a dog chasing its tail. There isnt really any good way to recomend skills as this map is a pretty fair mix and its not particularly hard. Could probably do with henchmen/prophecy & core skills. Salving Cactus[edit]

Spirits can kill them whilst they're underground. I saw one shoot underground then the spirits started firing into the ground then some loot appeared. However, the VQ number did not rise. Hydra boss found dead[edit]

I was vanquishing a little while ago and the necromancer hydra boss was dead on the ground when I go to its route, but I didn't kill it. Could it have been killed by running over scarab traps?173.69.63.43 00:53, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
