Skills Which Involve Sacrifice[edit]
what about illusion of weakness? User:jmz 09:00, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- Other skills specifically state "sacrifice" and always use a percent value for health lost. Illusion of Weakness could perhaps get a mention of some sort though, if it is seen fit, since it doesn't really fit damage or sacrifice terms. Txzeenath 09:14, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- Should't Awaken the Blood be mentioned? It does affect the amount of health sacrificed.
- If Illusion of Weakness is excluded, then I don't see why Aura of the Lich would be included, as it doesn't specifically state "sacrifice" either. --Srakin 01:34, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

beta sacrifice[edit]
Before the release, sacrifice was not percental, but with numbers. 25 health for Plague Sending, 40 for BiP :D —ZerphaThe Improver 17:48, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
User Skills[edit]
Why are their use skills on this page? E.g. Unholy Ressurection and Unholy Taint. I don't know how to edit tables and would likely muck it up, so I thought I would just point it out and hope someone noticed. 141.14.151.178 07:11, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- Problems with the skill infobox template. Will be fixed. Backsword 07:13, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Aura of the Lich[edit]
Is there any reason for keeping this skill in the sacrifice list and notes after the December 11 2008 update? Oma 13:54, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Dark Aura and Masochism[edit]
I mentioned this on the Dark Aura talk page too but I can't see the harm in putting it here as well. Anyways, I wonder if Dark Aura would trigger twice if you have Masochism active and use a skill that already sacrifices health like Dark Pact or Signet of Agony or something. I guess the question is whether you sacrifice 3-5% HP from Masochism and then whatever additional cost from the skill you're actually using or if the game just thinks of it as 1 big chunk of sacrificed health. ordering by sacrifice[edit]
the way the table orders the skills by sacrifice cost is completely wrong - I guess it's interpreting the percentage as a text value or something, but I don't know enough on how this works to have any idea about fixing it Mist Y (talk) 08:33, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- Wiki software orders by digits, which means it won't take the actual values into account (1, 100, 11, 111, 2, 25, 3, 33, and so on). I think I could fix this issue, but it would make wiki editting less accessible for editors with limited wiki-fu. I'll think of a way around it. - Infinite - talk 09:59, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- Easiest way would be leading zeros, but, it might get confusing. I suppose you could have them colored the same as the background to hide them, but, anyone editing would find that even more confusing. Good luck finding a good solution lol. 71.241.141.28 21:47, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- I had high hopes for a simple edit: [1]. Unfortunately the main thing this edit changed was going from a sortable-by-sacrifice table to a non-sortable one. I have also noticed that pages like List of necromancer skills do not sort by sacrifice in either revision to the template. The empty cells are likely to blame. This leads me to believe it is something rooted deeper than what regular contributors can edit, and to fix it we might need a bureaucrat, sysop, or an ArenaNet employee.
- It did, however, fix the sorting of adrenaline cost. Therefore I assume the percentage character is also a problem for sorting numerical. - Infinite - talk 15:02, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
