Talk:Shing Jea Sherman
Just found this guy and thought he was awesome so I had to write this article, I wasn't sure about how to format all his different shouts so I did it like that. Also I could only write up about the titles that I and the one other person there had so it is by no means a complete list.Lyra Valo File:LVS.JPG 12:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Other location[edit]
So...this guy is hanging out near the rez shrine in Alcazia, and when you talk to him he asks to follow you and view your fighting. Didn't know if there should be something in this article, or if there was another article for him already( I didn't see one). I'm not sure what he does while following, except say things like, "Were you fighting or is that a new dance move?" after a battle if finished. 68.104.205.160 19:03, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Shing Jea Sherman critiques your party's fighting style as you move from mob to mob in Alcazia Tangle. The faster you kill a group of monsters, the better your "review" will be at the end. There are eight tiers in his rating system. When a fight is over, his feedback will appear over his head and also in the your chat log. His best rating triggers if you can kill a group in 15 seconds or less. The bottom rating is for any fight that takes 91+ seconds. The other six fall in between those two times. See if you can find them all! Glad you like him, by the way. He was a lot of fun to write. Bobby Stein 17:16, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Legendary Guardian[edit]
"[name], Legendary Guardian. That has a nice ring to it" (fR0z3n.S0u1 @ unofficial wiki)[updated] 90.150.215.102 18:12, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Just wanna double check. You're sure right? Cos that's exactly the same as for Protector of Tyria. -- ab.er.rant 00:56, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Drunk+party animal title?[edit]
dose he have lines for these titles as well? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:75.172.43.176 (talk).
- Yes. It's just that no one's added them here yet. -- ab.er.rant 05:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- The party animal title track was introduced months after Sherman hit the scene, so he unfortunately doesn't talk about it. He does acknowledge the drunkard title, however. His dialogue is, "Whew! What's that smell? Oh, why it's [player name] the [title]. Hide your ale, people." If it's not triggering, please post a note on my talk page and I'll look into it. Thanks! - are they going to add something for it? i love that guy and would love to see him say something about being the life of the party.75.172.43.176 09:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'll see what I can do. Bobby Stein 04:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- lol, that's funny. — ク Eloc 貢 16:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sherman should now acknowledge the Party Animal title with today's update. Hit up my talk page if it's not working properly. Thanks! Bobby Stein 19:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Master of the North?[edit]
I have stood next to him for a good half hour now and he hasn't once mentioned this one. I also don't see a mention of it on the wiki page, is this another missing title? BScorpion 22:28, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Verify[edit]
I had just wiped in hard mode at the rit boss the first time, and when I went to re-recruit the Sherman I noticed some additional dialogue. I don't know quite what the trigger was, it was either a) my personal death, b) the death of the entire group, or c) the vanishing of the entire party from compass range of the sherman. (I just tried to repeat this alone + with a hero right outside tarnished haven, and I couldn't get it to trigger the dialogue at all, so perhaps this needs further research). -Chieftain Alex 18:33, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
