Trivia

Has anyone else thought of the novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad when seeing this quest title? One of the Vasburgs is named Konrad and the whole quest snakes you through the Kurzick forest searching for this beast. It just reminds me of how in the novel they snaked through the jungle looking for the beastly Kurtz. Thoughts? Restarting Quest?

Let's say the group of luxons shows up and killed the moa, and you were going to tame it. You ended up getting credit for it. If you abandoned the quest and accepted it again (and did it all over again), would the black moa show up? 22:54, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

any actual information how to do this quest?

the walk through part of this page is worthless, how do you make the moa hostile to kill it? its green for me. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.83.90.99 (talk).

The walkthrough is just to follow each step in the quest log; once you've spoken to each of the people listed, the moa becomes killable/charmable. Or it should - I suppose a bug at this late stage is possible, but I suspect not. — snograt 11:47, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
