Dye Bug[edit]
I would like to note that the version of this armor sold by Oroku in Factions does not dye normally. Collector pieces in Prophecies dye normally. Here's a quick rundown: Blue -> Blue, Black -> Black, Silver -> Silver, Purple -> Purple, Red -> Orange, Orange -> Yellow, Yellow -> Neon Yellow. Unable to test Brown and White. As you can see, the Red to Yellow part of the color wheel is offset by a degree. I blew 50k in dyes (including black) getting one piece of it the right color before the current dye-preview system. =\ GammaRay 18:01, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

- It's nice to get some odd colors out of it, with its abnormal dying wheel. Except that there is pretty much no way at all to get a straight up red since the offset is only a portion of the wheel instead of the whole thing. The closest I got was a muddy gray-maroon-red. - I can't dye my helmet brown. (Male Helm from presearing collector.) The resulting color is the same as the default color, even when the dye is applied. Gray also produces a bright, shiny white. The rest of the Krytan armor from the presearing collectors dye properly.--

- (Joining the party late) Yes, the male helmet from Yakkington is bugged. The coloured bits of the rest go a nice orange colour when dyed orange, while the helmet only just changes colour from its default yellow, becoming slightly darker, but still more yellow than orange.
