Must be done in order?[edit]
Just making sure that this is confirmed by others, I made 2 attempts to go out of order neither was successful. --Skekzyz 03:32, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't do everything in order. Worked for me. Kurtan 03:37, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- I do mean in order internally to each quest. --Skekzyz 04:29, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- You only have to do in order to get the green map star set up for you. If you know where you are going, you do not have to do in internal order. — Mar Master 04:41, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Specifically, I've partied with others, and we did them out of order. One person had the star, so we paraded along. — Mar Master 04:46, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
More than disambiguation?[edit]
Shouldn't this have info like wayfarer's marks drop (only near places in quests? confirmation requested) on it? and anything else they add later this week? --Skekzyz 04:27, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- I had drops doing totally different things, so dropping near places in quest is far from confirmed and with do respect an illusion of mind. The announcements as they have been made don't give any reason to believe they add more later this week. 195.240.63.18 11:56, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- the wayfarer's marks drop anywhere, I've gotten them in uw, after I completed all the wayfarer quests, and uw isn't near any of them Raijjn
- Confirmed, I recieved some while doing the Hearts of the North mini-mission.MystiLefemEle 04:45, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Leeching[edit]
Only one person in the party needs to reach the destination, in order for everyone to have the quest updated. (I'm quite aware of the vast amount of lazy people in GW, being one of them myself) Gaudy Gourd God 09:48, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
Rewards[edit]
Maybe i get it, the exp reward is the year when the campaign is released (for exemple prop's quest reward 2005 exp, cantha and elona 2006, and eotn 2007) and gold reward the current year (2012), maybe the release of gw2. This cuold be added to notes. 93.146.153.181 10:51, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Bonus Weekend Events[edit]
I'm getting reports of double vanquish rewards, is this true?--Smithy-Star 13:51, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Don't know about vanquish but I've been seeing double EotN & SS/LB points from bounties as well as double title points when trading in faction. Skerry Vore 14:36, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
We've picked up an extrodinary amount of greens running the quests. Like two people, four greens in one run in normal mode. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 108.167.79.162 (talk) at 17:28, 18 August 2012 (UTC).
Do u have to do all 4 quests with the same character, & all 4 without doing anything else? Or u just can't break in the middle of a quest? TIA. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 173.103.254.154 (talk) at 18:00, 18 August 2012 (UTC).
I can confirm double VQ reward, double SS\LB and double Kurz\Lux faction hand in are all active. double lucky, however, is not still only 250 for retain 92.40.59.62 18:16, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Quest rewards are doubled, as Rise rewards 2500 rep (actual reward still reads as 1250 rep but you are awarded double the amount). Cress Arvein 18:44, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- You also get double XP for capping elite skills. Xelonir 19:37, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
I added a note, feel free to remove the "confirmed bonus events" as the note looks terrible- But I don't know for CERTAIN that all the bonuses are active. Winning Was Sheen 23:47, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- It seems likely that they are all active, I've had at least 7 keys (from different areas) and 2 lockpick drops, not to mention that my Lucky/Unlucky points gained have been doubled. 92.235.33.173 13:55, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Unlike Seventh Year Anniversary Celebration, it seems not all of the weekend events are active right now. Did FA just now to see if faction was doubled and it wasn't. --Silver Edge 08:01, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Really was hoping the update made more tormy an option but really don't care most of them are kinda uggo anyway(plz no "u don't like them because u can't afford them) comments, because coulda would but did not on purpose (meh free is free tho) 71.181.57.50 17:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- There is no weekend event that increases dye drops. --Silver Edge 06:15, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok... increased pick drops like a weekend event and increased dye drops like st paddys.... that better? 4 dyes from 20 kills IS more than normal and on 5 out of 7 runs of 20 kills at least one dye. It may not be a weekend event but there is an event with increased dye drop rates. I'm pretty sure there's more than just certain weekend event buffs going on with this event (how many drops from other events were added to the 7th anniversary...or was that one irish pirate pride days? :/)71.181.57.50 01:50, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- 50 faction for each win in RA, so Arena Bonus Weekend isn't active neither. It might be that PvP-only weekend events (since "Double Luxon and Kurzick title points" is active) are not active. --24.212.128.135 09:47, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

How 'bout some free obby while you're at it?[edit]
If I'd known you were going to hurry us all into GW2 by filling our HoMs FOR US I'd have never bothered wasting all that time in pursuit of one lousy Tormented weapon. How about a redo of the Norn fighting tournament, where instead of a bison cup we all get shiny new obsidian armor, and hey, maybe for the Great Norn Alemoot not one but TWO oppressor weaps! (It is almost double-everything week, right?) And everytime I open my xunlai I want to see a great shiny stack of zkeys. You know, 'cuz I OPENED it! And don't forget those lucky points, may as well double them too while you're at it! WOOHOO! >.> --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.128.43.168 (talk) at 07:03, 19 August 2012 (UTC).
- A torment weapon has always been quite an expensive weapon and is for most people hard to get. This gets you 1 guaranteed point for your HoM if you haven't got a torment weapon yet which is a really nice gift! And if you're serious, which I hope you are not, you really don't understand games. --94.224.80.53 10:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Why are some people so obsessed with the reward instead of the fun to get the reward? I did these quest just for the fun and enjoyment of doing it and I clicked printscreen like a japanese tourist in the progress.195.240.63.18 16:37, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

@moron #1...."blah blah expensive and hard to get." Ummm....duh? That was my point! I EARNED mine thru countless hours grinding away. NO point in that if they're just going to throw one at you anyway. Oh, and as far as comprehension goes, I'd guess you don't really understand much of ANYTHING.
@moron #2 If I were truly obsessed I'd have written a page long rant, not unlike those peeps made when booze became spammable or survivor became 'easier' to achieve. Honestly I'd have been happy with a simple gold reward for the new quests-If Anet gave a rats ass about those of us who spent hours of our lives EARNING the tormented weaps they'd at least have allowed us to SELL the one WE DON'T NEED! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.128.43.168 (talk) at 17:23, 19 August 2012 (UTC).
- Hmm, I understand the frustration of spending hours only to see later others getting the same for free, but you are the moron here^^. 1. If grinding is no fun to you dont do it, 2. If you only want to be mean, be mean to yourself, 3. Prices increased intense cause HoM and the players will mostly vanish cause GW2, so Anet is intelligent to do so.
- I played a bit DoA and enjoyed it, i also gave away tormented weapons to my friend for their HoM. I gave many stuff away to help others with their HoM. I am playing too much GW, but i (nearly) always enjoy it. So this changes are nothing to go crazy for me^^.
- Furthermore, you call yourself the unlucky one. You are not. Go to the Wiki, read some SC-guides, go ingame and play SCs. This way you get the expensive Stuff. What will be a year later? Noone to sell armbraces, noone to play DoA (and also noone for ZQs). You at least could get an armbrace even as a bad player (not, that you are one), but without pros around anymore, bad players can read guides so often they want...without others, only with heros, DoA is some pretty boring and newbie-unfriendly place, even in NM --Naruuu 18:05, 19 August 2012 (UTC).
- In this case there is alot of ask but no supply for a reason explained above, meaning it was nearly impossible to achieve 50/50. 30/50 can still be achieved easily but for those who wanted to go further the Tormented Weapon requirement and its near 0 supply made it a brick wall to achieve it, this quest and reward destroyed that brick wall masterfully. Da Mystic Reaper 22:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- I myself believe the event was more a response to the "near zero supply" from back in 2007... I'm sure there are still quite a few armbraces somewhere.71.181.57.50 17:35, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Didn't disappear[edit]
I tried to get Cantha reward will full inventory. No problem I just cleared inventory and claimed reward again. Ramei Arashi 16:23, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think the bug was a bit more than that. It sounded like if you tried to accept the quest with a full inventory and then zoned somewhere else before fixing it, you would lose the quest. That's what happenned in my case, but the update should address the problem. --128.187.97.21 15:11, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you ArenaNet![edit]
Here'a a big nice thank-you to ArenaNet for giving us these quests. It gave me a reason to go stomp round some of those parts of Elona and Tyria where I hadn't been for a while, and in some cases at all. I went to see the Statue of a Female Warrior from the two sides of the boundary, and I went to see the statue of Lyssa in Mineral Springs. These were neat things to have seen.
And I finally sent my Nightfall Necro to Majesty's Rest to visit Rotscale and his friends. That was interesting, although I learned a useful trick. Signet of Sorrow works really well on him once you have a corpse at his feet. I normally play a N/R, so I just sent my pet in, and after, as you might expect, the poor thing got stomped, I just hammered on the SoS key... (The trouble with a necro against a mob like this is that you have nothing much dying, so you have to wait ages for energy to come back. SoS is a zero-energy skill so you can do something useful in the meantime.) Cynique 03:35, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Lol i think i'll try that one... maybe i'll use the Hound of Balthazar big ty for fire doggie too :D 71.181.57.50 17:38, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Just a thought[edit]
But if you super impose the paths you take to each location onto the world map, would it be a picutre of anything? I can't use programs like photoshop etc to save my life. But maybe someone out there might have the time and inclination to try it? Would be a good "red herring" as such. (doh! forgot to sign again, sry) Kayg 16:08, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- They are just iconic places in the world. Some are important because of lore, others because they are a must-see. I wouldn't look too much into that. MithTalk 04:55, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Given that many of the locations are simply the most remote and out-of-the-way places in the game, and/or zones overpopulated with trash mobs, I'm pretty sure the only intent Anet had was in making the quests slow/long/boring enough to justify the reward. 76.253.0.17 06:26, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Doing the quests a second time[edit]
Just so I know, if I do these quests again (I can take them again), I won't get another Reverie Gift from the 4 Proofs? If so, I'd I'll just avoid the quests this time. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brakkis (talk) at 10:40, 22 August 2012 (UTC).

Exact Time duration?[edit]
I just tried to finish the cantha one and the npc is no longer. I should have been available for at least some more time. Give us exact time to know to finish ! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 188.240.44.19 (talk) at 20:33, 30 August 2012 (UTC).

Same here, when I logged on, it still said Wayfarer's event, so I didn't bother to look for the NPC and when completed it is no longer there. Now I have three Proofs and 35 Marks that I can't do anything with... Please state an exact time. 84.26.248.87 21:44, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ouch, yeah, this just happened to me as well. Kind of wish there was a better time frame for this. Kind of stuck with these 3 proofs and a final quest ready to turn in, after 2 days of running and fighting. =( - 68.232.80.115 23:41, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Bets on next year?[edit]
Within the quest lore, there's actually nothing to suggest that it's a one-time event. The NPCs actually make it sound like a holiday... commence whining and outrage from people who didn't like it the first time. 65.87.26.122 00:46, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- I thought of that, too. I think they will. It will generate interest for GW2, although a year from now it might not matter as much. Still, I plan on continuing on my quest to 50 points even as I play GW2. Only 5 left to go, but they're mighty expensive. :) Daddicus 02:31, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

New quest reward?[edit]
According to someone in my guild, you can get a "Miniature Legionnaire", "Everlasting Legionnaire Tonic" or a "gift bag" instead of a Reverie Gift this year. --Silver Edge 00:09, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- No more free tormented weapons? Da Mystic Reaper (talk) 00:13, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- True, the reward has changed from last year, no more Tormented Weapons. The 4 options are: Miniature Legionnaire, Everlasting Legionnaire Tonic, Legionnaire Summoning Crystal, and Legion Loot Bag. The miniature and the EL tonic are not trade-able, no idea about the others, but I'm assuming the same goes from them. The EL Summoning Crystal requires a skill points each time it is used. Would like more information as to what the Loot Bag contains. Rigel talk 00:23, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

(Reset indent) For anyone that didn't acquire a Reverie Gift last year, did Fylinn, Sworn to Winds only offer you the choice of a Reverie Gift this year, or did she offer you the choice of a Reverie Gift, Everlasting Legionnaire Tonic, Legionnaire Summoning Crystal, Legion Loot Bag or a Miniature Legionnaire? Cause we have one user claiming the former and another user claiming the latter. The guild member I had previously mentioned at the beginning of this section also claims the latter, since he didn't acquire a Reverie Gift last year and Fylinn offered him the choice of the Legionnaire items. So which is it? --Silver Edge 04:46, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't do the quests last year and got offered of all the items, including a Reverie Gift which was offered on its own before any other option became available. The text said something along the lines of 'I'll only offer this gift once - if you want something else you won't get a chance to choose this again'. I'm assuming this means that next year I won't be offered a Gift at all but, yes, I had the chance to get one. However, given the choice between a portable Charr sword-machine and some skanky-looking wand.... 213.122.103.220 07:06, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

I haven't gotten around to completing the quests this year, but here's an image of the Fylinn reward dialogue from the forum thread linked below. Is that the text you saw, except for you there was a fifth button to select the Reverie Gift? The dialogue seems to mention the Tormented weapon, even though the Reverie Gift isn't listed as an option for this person. I'm wondering if all accounts get the same dialogue, since Fylinn's dialogue needs updating.--Silver Edge 07:14, 29 August 2013 (UTC)- Nevermind, I found the answer to my question here. --Silver Edge 01:53, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

- If you follow the link I posted in my most recent comment above, you'll see this screenshot which shows Fylinn's dialogue stating: "The first is a rare weapon that will safeguard you on your journeys, but once you accept, I shan't offer it again". --Silver Edge 05:21, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- I saw that reward dialogue in person, but it sounds like it could also be read "once you accept THIS WEAPON SPECIFICALLY" she won't offer it again, not "accept anything at all." 67.80.218.108 05:23, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- That's what I was trying to say. [2] [3] She doesn't mention the other items until the following sentence, "I have other items if your armory is full: relics from my own travels", but there is no way to know for certain unless we can get confirmation from someone at ArenaNet or someone tests it by not selecting the Reverie Gift this year and coming back next year. --Silver Edge 05:33, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
- I think I was wrong with my initial supposition that you either take the weapon or lose the option forever if you choose another item. I'm quietly confident I will have all choices next year, having re-read the text you linked to. The way I read it you will be offered a weapon every festival until you accept it but, as you say, there's really only one way to find out. What I do like is that ANet could be bothered to add something, even if it is only a very minor update. (my IP is dynamic - post was 213.122.) 86.131.29.58 20:04, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

Ability to repeat quests[edit]
I think that the new rewards dialogue suggests that all the quests can be repeated once per account per year. I completed only two out of four proofs last year and handed in the remaining two proofs to get the tormented weapon. I was then able to go back and get the two quests I hadn't handed in this year again.
- I did these quests immediately when they were first introduced in 2012 and got a tormented weapon. When ArenaNet reset the quests shortly after introduction due to the issue where people with full inventories were not receiving the quest rewards, I did them a second time and received another full set of proofs which I've stored in my Xunlai Chest ever since, as fond memories of the "final" new content quest in the game. This year, however, I am not even able to pick up the quests, but rather am only allowed to turn in the proofs I have left over from last year. They have a sentimental value to me, so I'll hang onto them and forgo the new quest rewards. ninestories (talk) 04:37, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
You won't be able to take the quests again until you turn in all the proofs. I think ANet intend that you can take the full set once a year.
- Actually, u can on each character, untill u turn in the proofs - thatis if you wanted to stock up or what not, at least it did last year.MystiLefemEle (talk) 07:53, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- You cannot complete all four quests on each character. From Wayfarer's Reverie: "Accepting the quest reward on one character will remove the quest from any other characters that may have it." "Unlike most other quests, these quests can only be completed once per account." Which was also the same as last year, except you could complete any of the quests again if your account completed that quest before the August 20, 2012 update. --Silver Edge 07:14, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- That's embarrassing. It turns out I can take the quests again even though I already have the proofs from last year. I had gone to the NPC in Embark Beach (who wants me to turn in any proofs I have) but did not talk to the NPCs in each of the main cities who will indeed give me the Wayfarer's Reverie quests, even though I still have each of the four proofs from last year. I just completed the Tyrian quest and turned it in successfully for a Proof of Flames, so undoubtedly the other three will still work too. That way I actually can finish the quests and continue to hold on to my proofs from last year for their sentimental value. :3 ninestories (talk) 22:06, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- Could you check if two of the same proofs are stackable or not? All four of the proof pages are currently displaying that they are stackable, because that is the default for the infobox. --Silver Edge 06:22, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
- My apologies for the delayed reply, Silver Edge. By the time I saw your request I had already turned them in. I checked it this year though and each of the proofs are indeed stackable. ninestories (talk) 23:28, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

quest bug?[edit]
yesterday i remembered about this event and wanted to get my rewards so i decided to run the quests real quick on my sin. I picked up the proph quest on my sin and completed it and got my proof, then went on to do cantha. I went to KC to pick up the quest and noticed there wasnt a quest icon above the quest giver, i looked in my quest log and the quest was already there with all but the last 2 locations already crossed out. I remember doing the cantha quest on my sin last year, but getting stuck and I ended up doing it on another character to complete it. I dont know why most of the quest was already done when it I hadent done the quests this year and last year completed them all and got a tormented weapon already. It seems like the quest was never abandoned on my sin, i rarely play that char, and the quest could have been active this past year. I ended up just going to the last 2 locations and completed the quest, but it seems weird and maybe a bug. 71.177.174.97 19:38, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- Fortunately it's not a bug. The quest persisted on your character because you completed the whole of Wayfarer's Reverie on another character (and never turned in or abandoned the quest on your initial character). Any quests you had already finished on your original character last year were successfully reset for this year. Effectively, if a character had all 4 quests done without accepting the rewards the previous year, they could complete the quests instantly this year. Either way, no bugs. :) - Infinite - talk 20:57, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
What kind of event ends at noon on a holiday weekend?[edit]
Yeah, I know they set the times, but seriously, what kind of event ends at noon on a Sunday on a freakin' holiday weekend? C'mon ANet, put it back through at least noon tomorrow, midnight would be better. --Darius Shalnin (talk) 19:05, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Doesn't exclude turning in books for EotN[edit]
FYI for next year, I received double faction reward for all of my EotN books. I turned in several and verified it each time. The adjustment to faction was always double what the dialog stated I would receive and double what was stated on the relevant page in this wiki. Getting 60,000 faction rather than 30,000 was hard to miss.Driftwood (talk) 19:00, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
- As has been pointed out somewhere else this isn't a WR bug but of the active weekly bonuses. Steve1 (talk) 20:28, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

When I was at the pax 2013 guild wars 2 party, I think it was Joe Kimmes who said that there were new npcs that we didn't have documented in zones during this event. so next time this comes up we need to be sure to look for them.- Zesbeer 22:11, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Screenshots[edit]
Do we have unedited versions of these File:Book factions.png archived? --Falconeye (talk) 01:40, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Those are images from Shiro's Return. --Silver Edge 01:45, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- How does one keep track of all these images without sub-categorizing them into Cat:Shiro's Return, Cat:Wayfarer's, etc. ? --Falconeye (talk) 01:57, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Why would they need to be in an additional category? If you accessed one of the storybook images (e.g. File:Vizunah Square page.jpg), you can see at the bottom in the File usage section which page uses the file (i.e. Shiro's Return), and on that storybook page (i.e. Shiro's Return) there is basically a gallery of all the images. What images would need to be categorized as Wayfarer's? --Silver Edge 02:24, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Extension of duration?[edit]
Hello guys... Once again, I will not be able to participate to this event, because I will leave exactly on the 25th of August until the 5th of September. Does someone know if the duration of this event got extended for, let's say another week? It's really annoying that I have to miss this important event every year, I badly want the summoning stone... --Jorre22225 (talk) 07:52, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- No, the duration of this event has been automated, meaning that it will last the same length every year. So I can only give you this advice: next year, make sure your vacation time and Wayfarer's Reverie won't conflict with each other ;) SuperRobertWa (talk) 09:39, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Rumor[edit]
I heard from somebody who heard from an ex-dev that the Xunlai Archivists are a riddle or something. Some of the references overlap, like there are two maps with Kilroy and vaettir. Not sure about the cupcake. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 97.113.153.200 (talk) at 01:20, 26 August 2020 (UTC).
- Well, I was going to create a new note, seeing as I admitted as much on Twitter today, but I'll just confirm this person was onto something. My apologies to the other devs for spoiling the secret (if we were still keeping it a secret), to the community for my part in hiding it without leaving more hints and confirmations, and especially to our QA for making 'em test something nobody would find for years. If you all get stuck looking for it and you need more hints, ask Joe Kimmes. Ha! --Matthew Moore (talk) 06:05, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- Can I just have one hint; if this is true, can it only be found during the Reverie? Because I'm in the mood for a wild goose chase, but not if it's pointless outside of the event's timeframe. - Infinite - talk 14:59, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- I...actually can't remember if it has to be during the event or not. We'll have to get Joe (or one of the other old Live Team crew) to confirm that. --Matthew Moore (talk) 16:37, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
- I just spoke with Joe Kimmes (to apologize in advance for sending him a bunch of eager info requests), and he said he is pretty darn sure that this can be acquired outside of the Wayferer's Reverie. So you can safely continue the testing of other conditions. 🤘😁 --Matthew Moore (talk) 01:13, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Also, after talking with Joe and Zack Nickerson (Live Team QA), I thought it would be helpful to put a point in writing: This was intended as an Easter egg, which means we didn't test it as rigorously as core content (or even outside our staging environment), and it was never intended to be core content. It's eight-years-old, unmonitored, unmaintained content. Will it work? Probably. 🤞 But even if you can cobble together the proper steps to perform this magic trick, it also may not. So if it doesn't, please don't go asking Stephen Clarke-Willson to put it on the low-hanging fruit list for a fix. 👊 I'm rooting for you, and if you unearth this long-hidden treasure, it'll be a delight to you and me, but please keep it in perspective. 🧐 Thanks and good hunting! --Matthew Moore (talk) 03:32, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

- It sounds as though we're looking for Xunlai Archivist Argentum's sword (the Silver Edge perhaps?) as mentioned by Xunlai Archivist Rylek. Reading it again as I write this, it sounds like a reference to Drakkar Lake. Perhaps it's worth getting Kilroy to spawn there and following him while keeping an eye out for anything he charges by, like Auren says. Light of Deldrimor might also come into it, Sheftenalis mentions shining a light on antiquity. - Alexis Toran (talk) 23:24, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I'm out of ideas for now. Tried checking around Drakkar Lake some: during Favor, I popped Lucky Aura and a Birthday Cupcake while wearing the Golden title, and ran around solo checking some areas (each green dot on this map, points of interest + vaettir / kilroy spawns). I dropped a cupcake and a sword, as well as using /bow (with Divine Aura) and Light of Deldrimor to no avail. Hopefully someone's got better ideas than me; best of luck to anyone trying further. horrible | contribs 00:20, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- It's been found. Quoting from Reddit;
- How i got it. There´s a spot where kilroy spawns in drakkar near sifhala, you gotta go solo, luck from fortunes, gods favors up, drop a cupcake or eat a cupcake (i did both so not sure) in front of kilroy, light of deldrimor, a silver vaettir will spawn, kill it
- The Silver Vaettir will drop a green weapon called Silver Edge. Da Mystic Reaper (talk) 11:11, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Xunlai Archivists' dialogues and Silver Edge[edit]
Do the Xunlai Archivists' dialogues change for accounts that had Silver Edge drop before? I haven't acquired the sword, so I can't check. Five of the eight Xunlai Archivists spawn in outposts, so it will be the quickest to talk to them; although, it might be sufficient to just talk to Xunlai Archivist Argentum, since the sword belongs to him and if his dialogue hasn't changed it's unlikely the others will have changed. Perhaps also check the following.
- Do the Xunlai Archivists' dialogues change for accounts that:
- a) had the sword drop before and the character talking to the Xunlai Archivist:
- a1) doesn't have the sword in inventory.
- a2) has the sword in inventory, but isn't wielding the sword.
- a3) is wielding the sword.
- b) haven't had the sword drop before and the character talking to the Xunlai Archivist:
- b1) has the sword in inventory, but isn't wielding the sword.
- b2) is wielding the sword.
