Template talk:GWW navbar header
The serif font next to the sans font of the wiki looks a little jarring. Since the navbar is not within a box or separated from the content in any way it just seems like someone has made a mistake with the font.
I'm going to remove the font tag, and I would say that if we really want to use serif then we should really make it clear that the navbox is a distinct part of the page. LordBiro 07:18, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
- I added that serif font without even thinking about it too much last evening; the navbar was looking just too simple, it was a "Please be less ugly, PLEASE!" kind of change.
- It still looks uncomfortably plain to me though. =\ --Dirigible 22:29, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
One line[edit]
I think when the box is at the top of the article like this it should stay on one line when possible. In order to facilitate this I've replaced the spaces inside the links with non-breaking spaces, and instead of setting "width" I've set "max-width" which defines the widest the div can be, but not the narrowest, so if you view it on 640x480 it will look ok.
