Rig..ness?
Say hello to Frosty! Frosty gets his name from the first icy-looking case his organs were placed in 4 years ago. Since, his parts have been replaced over time, forming three 'generations' of Frosty. All has been done on the same rig, and he has never experienced any critical errors such as a hard disk failure. Frosty began as an XP, and was transitioned into an XP-Ubuntu (Linux Kernel) hybrid around 9 months later. Since the release of W7, Frosty has been fully operational under this fantastic OS while dual-booting with Fedora.
Frosty keeps chilled via a pretty standard but slightly modified CoolIT ECO-R120 ALC system accompanied by 3 case fans. I would recommend the ECO-R120 to anyone interested in any grade of OC'ing and/or experiencing cooling issues. An overview of my specs is below.
