Parameters[edit]
For most of the fields above you will be able to enter simple text. But to have your page have the final output that mine do you will need to set up a few other pages. See below for more detailed instructions for each entry.

| gender = | single letter m or f |
| age = | numbers xx for example 25 for 25 years old |
| created = | simple text, approximate date this character was created |
| level = | enter number here xx 1-20 |
| skillpoints = | enter number here unspent skill points xxx |
| experience = | enter number here, actual xp with no spacers and no comma. |
| profession = | shorthand d/mo/e/a/p/me/r/n/rt/w |
| professiontext = | Dervish/Monk/Elementalist/Assassin/Paragon/Mesmer/Ranger/Necromancer/Ritualist/Warrior (capitalize) |
| born = | simple text, continent your character was born on. |
| trained = | simple text, if character was trained on a different continent than they were born on enter that here. |
| height = | enter number here x'xx" |
| weight = | enter number here xxxlbs |
| navbar = | inclusion link to your character nav bar (will need prior set up) i.e. {{User:YourName/templates/charnav}} |
| charlogo = | If you have artwork for your character's logo it can go here. i.e. [[Image:User_YourName_CharacterName_Logo.jpg]] |
| charimage = | enter link to your screenshot i.e. [[Image:User_YourName_CharacterName.jpg]] This template is designed to work with Images that are 400x500px. That happens to be an 8x10 crop on most editing software.
If you can specifiy final size when you crop simply choose an 8x10 crop and enter the size. |
| missionprogress = | inclusion link to your character's mission progress pages (will need prior set up i.e. {{User:YourName/CharacterName/Missions}} see my main character's mission pages for an example |

| favbuild = | your favorite build ~ I prefer to use User:Y0 ich halt/Templates/MiniBuild Since it fits perfectly with my current layout. Go to his page to learn how to use it. |
| history = | any text you want to add. You can use wiki code to format your text. Just start typing it after the = and continue on until you are done. |
| uselessfacts = | similar to the history section... more text area for other things you want to include that may not properly go in the history section. |
| treasure = | link to your treasure tracking page (requires prior setup) |
| goals = | more text area for you to define your plans for this character. wikicode can be used to format the text in this entry just like the history section. |
