Duke Tosti was born in Tyria, Regent Value, 18 years before the Searing. He grew up under guidance of Ivor Trueshot and Master Ranger Nente, the two men who taught him how to read the wind and how to charm an animal companion. Together with Aidan he explored Wizzard's Folly and all the other lands close to Ascalon. At the age of 16 he aqcuired his Warthog pet, which was named Dirty Deagle and would become his beloved animal companion in the years to come. Then a dark cloud fell over the Kingdom of Ascalon, the Charr managed to find a way to get past the wall, and Ascalon city and the several estates surrounding it burned...
2 years, and many adventures, later, Duke Tosti returns to Ascalon, only to see how the survivors struggled to survive, being sieged by several foes, Charr, Grawl, Bandit or wild and foul animals, Ascalon was a dangerous place. However in the few safe hiding places that were left, many heroes stood up to protect their people and their country. Duke Tosti decided to be one of them and joined forces in order to push the Charr back once and for all, while cleansing the lands of any other foe that showed up along the way.
Soon it became clear there was more to this than only the war in Ascalon, together with Prince Rurik Duke Tosti pays several visits to Ambassador Zain, only to find out more parts of the world are in trouble.
This troubling news combined with a series of events brings Duke Tosti to great cities like Lions Arch, Amnoon Oasis, Droknar's Forge and Ember Light Camp on the fire islands, unveiling a huge plot which could destroy the entire world. Together with several fierce heroes Duke Tosti manages to put a halt to this and saves Tyria from it's doom.
These series of events made Duke Tosti the ranger he is today, a couple of years later he travels to Cantha in order to aid Brother Mhenlo and Master Togo to try and prevent Shiro from bringing down the royal family. And if that's not enough he also is one of the heroes that traveled to Elona, the land of the golden sun, because of an evil God, who even ressurected the two enemies that caused so many trouble in Tyria and Cantha, The Lich and Shiro Tagachi. He saw a new God emerge and managed to bring down another one.
Duke Tosti then travels inbetween the battle isles and the several continents, aiding other heroes where necessary and whiping any foe that got in range of his bow. On a cloudy day in Lions Arch a massive earthquake opened up new passages and Duke Tosti meets the person who's broken flute he has been carrying around in his off-hand for so long. The little girl Gwen grew up and is in dire need for help. One last time Duke Tosti pulls out his bow and after many tough fights in dark dungeons and strange lands he manages to save the world once more.
It's been a hectic time for this this hero, he now focusses on competitive play in Heroes Ascent, while he keeps aiding the Kurzicks in their ever lasting conflict with the Luxons. It's time to settle down, there is this nice female Canthan Guard in Wajjun Bazaar...
