Set Username to your GWW username- this will automatically create new pages for your tabs linked to your userspace. 
Set each TabName to the title of each tab- the pages that will automatically be created (linked to your userspace by Username) will share this title.
Set TabImage the name of the image (if any) you would like displayed on the tab- for character tabs, type the name of the profession.
Backcolor will set the background color for each tab- format for this should be {{w-color|light}}. 
Bordercolor will set the border color for each tab- format for this should be {{w-color|dark}}. 
The active parameter will tell the tabs whether they are active and will contain info. It is suggested that you use the currently listed setting for these parameters.
Then, on each automatically created tab page (ie: User:Username/TabName1), link the tab page to the page using this template and set it to active1=true.
ie: The code on the page User:Username/TabName1 would look like this:

If you wish to have more or less tabs, copy this code to your own page, delete all extra tab information or copy the tab information to create more, remembering to
change the numbers to the subsequent numbers for those tabs, and then change the style="width:9%" to 100 divided by the number of tabs you have (round down).
