I can't forget how Ascalon once was. The green meadows, rolling hills, and fields of flowers. I spent my days hunting bandits and grawl, and helped to keep the Charr on their side of the Great Wall. It's too much to look at Ascalon as it is now, and so I don't. I remain here, in my mind, in this time before fire burned away all the life from this land. I don't think I'll ever leave. It's where I belong.
