Salome, the youngest daughter of a prosperous Fort Ranik trader, spent much of her childhood happily exploring Regent Valley and becoming acquainted with the flora and fauna of the area. This idyllic existence however was brought abruptly to an end, when her father's supply train was ambushed by Charr, resulting in his disappearance. Wishing to avenge the loss of their father, Salome's two older brothers left to join the Ascalon Army. Salome yearned to join her brothers and during her many wanderings through the countryside of Ascalon, came across a reclusive Ranger, named Aidan. Recognising her innate understanding of the wilderness around her, Aidan agreed to take her under his wing and teach her how to become a Ranger. Salome's search for her father took her further than most Ascalonians ever travelled, through the heights of the Shivrpeak mountains and the depth of the dungeons found thoughout Kryta. This however ended during the searing and the loss of her remaining family. Salome was forged anew in the fire and pain of that day. She is driven, intelligent and fierce in her convictions to protect those who cannot protect themselves and to avenge the loss of those she loved.
