Background:

The 4th Survivor, Kiyone originally started out as an ingredients mule to hold items for Canthan New Year. After sitting idly for so long, I felt it was time to start using the character to some extent. One of the primary goal of this character is to be a natural spirit spammer for farming. However, a couple of roadblocks got in the way of achieving Legendary Survivor.

As Kiyone edged closer to becoming a Legendary Survivor, I took a gamble which did not paid off. With such a heavy loss, I decided to recreate the character in order to try again. But that came to an early halt (fortunately) so the loss was not as great. It's still time lost due to trying.

On the 3rd try, effort was made in order to ensure as much caution as possible, given that a Ritualist armor has a maximum of 60. Areas that were not as risky became an even higher risk. Still, a certain spirit skill made it possible to mitigate the damage down to a manageable level. Kiyone has wandered everywhere possible within the confines of avoiding high risk areas. She has ascended in Prophecies, vanquished a few random areas in Nightfall, and took care as many quests as possible in Cantha. Vizunah Square, a mission inviting of disaster and death, was not taken as a precaution. Even areas in Eye of the North were avoided altogether to exclude the use of Eye of the North skills. All XP were gained through natural methods ranging from vanquish to missions. Quests that rewarded greatly were taken and elite skills were captured wherever possible.

After achieving Legendary Survivor, Kiyone lived through the battle against Varesh at Ruins of Morah, defeating her in 2m 33s. However, it is a mere Graven Monolith that would hand Kiyone her first death, all for the sake of trying to farm for Inscribed Shards for Nicholas the Traveler. What is next for her is a mystery. After having done so much on Mimi Hagane, I have little motivation to do everything else again.
