Welcome[edit]
I'll begin with a welcome! This is my journal, where I'll post various thoughts and such about the game and what's going on. I've seen a lot of people doing this and thought I'd do the same. I don't know how active this page will be, but I'll have lots of things to post I'm sure. Think of this as a second talk page, so please be sure to sign. :) I'll get my posting ideas from other people as well, so don't be surprised if you see a few similar topics here that you've seen elsewhere. For now I'll leave the link to this in the sandbox as a test, but everyone can feel free to contribute. Please keep it appropriate. Tender Wolf

War in Kryta[edit]
I'm loving the update about the war in Kryta and how everyone is choosing a side (Obey or Dismantle). Me, I'm going Dismantle. I never did like the Mursaat, not to mention the Mantle kills innocent people. The Shining Blade tries to save the Chosen ones, but I have to admit they don't always seem to be very smart. With all those important people in one place it's a wonder no enemies have found them. But still, I've chosen my side, and I'm interested to see how this plays out. And I wonder if Zinn being on trial will lead to him working with the Shining Blade, as they have worked with the Asura in the past... Tender Wolf 21:51, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Gwen & Thackeray[edit]
I want to see what happens with Gwen and Keiran! Another interesting concept ANet threw in, seeing the potential budding romance. And given Logan Thackeray, I'm hoping this means that a Guild Wars 2 beta is coming up. A lot of the current updates seem to be pointing in that direction, filling out history for us. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! But I wish they'd focus on Gwen and Keiran a little more and the Krytan war a little less so that there's a balance in them; it's been a week or two since we last heard what's going on in the Hall of Monuments... New costumes[edit]
I was very excited to see that the Shining Blade and White Mantle costumes were made, as a lot of people predicted. My biggest issue with them is that the Shining Blade ones look way too much like Salma's (Evennia, Hayda, and Livia don't look like her yet they're in the SB), and the White Mantle ones have capes that kind of hang and fly weird. But meh, still a nice thing; I wonder what else they'll be doing for costumes in the future. :D Tender Wolf 03:03, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
5th year anniversary[edit]
It's finally revealed what the 5th year minis are! A lot of people are really disppointed in them, but I think they did pretty good. A lot of the minis I guessed were correct. Some people are upset because, for one, there has yet to be a mini pet made that is a paragon (in the regular version, not the mini version). Personally I think that's kind of dumb; they make the minis based on appearances, not professions. And MOX for the green is kind of disappointing; I can think of a lot better minis than that. But I heard rumors that one of the minis would "change", so perhaps MOX morphs into his avatar forms while walking around. I don't know. And then the whole diamond djinn thing; everyone thought for sure a diamond djinn would be made to complete the djinn set, but it wasn't. Someone suspected it's because the ruby and diamond djinns look every similar, so as minis they'd look almost the same. In fact, if someone wasn't careful, they could even buy a ruby djinn for the price of the new diamond one. So I guess it makes sense. I was hoping for a mini doppleganger, but oh well. New mini pets[edit]
Today's update was so awesome! They've added new quest givers for the war in Kryta, similar to the current Zaishen system, along with new mini pets you have a chance at getting via a royal gift. I doubt I'll ever get one though, as I still haven't gotten anything from Nicholas. :( But anyway, very pleased to see this update. Looking forward to what else is in store for us! Req. 8 weapons[edit]
Browsing various websites and seeing screenshots of people's weapons, I can't help but wondering how in the world people manage to find so many max damage, req. 8 weapons. And I'm talking about gold and purple ones, or even blue ones, that can be upgraded/modified. I'm lucky to even find a white one, which I don't. I don't know how people manage to find max, req. 8 weapons...wish I could find some. I also wish I could get some War in Kryta greens. I have a sin farming build given to me but I'm not sure about what gear I need. I've been vanquishing myself lately (somehow not dying, as I'm not good at HM), so hopefully someday I'll get Legendary Vanquisher. Yay! Tender Wolf 15:45, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
