ZEN unofficially existed at E3 for Everyone when several founding members escaped Diablo 2:LOD for a small project by some ex-blizzard developers. Up until the release of Factions, ZEN was an active PvE guild under a dozen members and over 2,000 hours logged per average player. ZEN has held the Hall of Heroes three times. At one point, ZEN sold services for capturing Underworld Spiders.
At this point the guild is largely abandoned. From the height of running three full 8-man teams on Teamspeak in Summer 2004 to today, ZEN has become a testament to Arena.net's policy of permanent accounts. Over eight original members, including the current Guild Leader posting more than six months of inactivity.
