Anet ought to come up with a system for people with a lot of character slots to move stuff from one character to another. It is tedious to repeatedly place items in storage and switch characters just to move things between them.
- Why this is a good idea
- Probably one of the biggest unnecessary time-wasters in Guild Wars. More time playing the game and less time moving items around is beneficial for everyone.
- It is all too easy to "lose" items with the current method; one either forgets what character is holding it, or leaves it in the Xunlai chest, etc.
- One of the reasons few people hold on to potentially valuable but hard-to-sell items is because they clutter up inventory space, and the current item transfer system makes dealing with all that very cumbersome.
- Repeatedly logging in and out is an annoyance to friends/guildies/people trying to have a conversation with you.
- If nothing else, would make it much easier to catalogue and inventory all items accross all characters, instead of having to log on to each one of them individually.
- Why it may not work out
- Technically impossible? - probably would have been implemented already if feasible
