Guild Wars Market Place (Discussion)[edit]

I think guild wars should impliment a market place to make it easier for players to trade with one another. The market place would be simple. Make it kinda like character slots, the more campaigns you have the more trade slots you have to post your offers, and make it to where players can buy additional slots. How it will work is for an example you have an Armbrace of Truth you want to sell, you can put in the price you want and if somebody offers that price they get it, you could also put in a price range and say a certain amount of time you want it in for, and the item will stay on for that amount of time. If the reserve you have set is met, the item is sold, whereas if it was not met, you get the item back. Make it to where the player doesnt have to be online for the item to be bought or sold. This would help eliminate the time zone issue when it comes to trading. Make it to where if your deal goes through it would send you a message kind of like the one you get when you have a guest request to a guild telling you to go pick up your item/money.

Why this is a good idea

This is a good idea because this will make it to where country and timezone no longer matters, you will no longer have to sit in Kamadan for hours trying to sell or buy an item. You will no longer have to compete trying to spam your add over and over again hoping to be seen. You can spend your time doing more important things lke talking to friends, or walking the dog. It would help the economy by making it to where a scammer could not take advantage of a desperate player as easily. It would help players buy and sell items more quickly It would help bring down the total number of servers needed for Lions Arch, Kamadan, Kaineng, and Eye Of The North, because players would not have to set there and spam there messages, they'd only have to stop and talk to the market place NPC, and collect his/her item or money and be on there way.-->

Why it may not work out

It may require a large amount of code to get a system like this to go through. It may take a long time to develop.
