Please do not add doubtful information to the Monk article. It is not proven that monks get less drops then everyone else, or that they are more poor. - anja 21:29, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Anja,
While I do not wish to argue, I must say with all humility that Monks do not get good loot, especially in elite missions. After playing a monk for more than 2 years and comparing the drops I get to what my other classes and other people get I can only say that Monks get VERY bad drops. If you wish to verify this please do so. Play a monk 2 weeks and then come back and tell me otherwise.

- My main character is a monk and I have been playing her for two years. I have not experienced this. - anja 21:39, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
So if you go through a mission and you spend the 95% of your time healing and 5% of your time dealing damage you get just as many gold drops as everyone else? If so please tell me how to do the same thing. I have not been able to compete for loot with my Monk since they implemented the anti-farming code.

- Anet has clearly stated that drops are fully random among party members. No favouritism. Backsword 21:47, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
I have an idea then. I am off of work Sunday morning through Tuesday night, Chicago time. I will play though every elite mission I have access to with you guys and we can put it to the test.
Sigh.
I see. Anet says so therefore it must be true. Well, all I can say is you most likely don't believe the President when he he says something, so why would you believe someone else (contextually speaking) with near absolute power?
Laz
- ArenaNet made the game, they are talking about rules they made themselves. That's why I believe them. I don't see why they would lie :) - anja 22:41, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- If you can come back with concrete evidence of this absurd assertion then we will rethink this position, but until that time do not post unsubstantiated nonsense please. --Lemming 22:45, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
