RFA[edit]
I've nominated you for a sysop position per the guidelines at GWW:RFA. Please indicate a clear acceptance or refusal of the nomination. You've consistently been a trustworthy contributor, and I believe you would be good for the position. —Tanaric 21:28, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! I've accepted, after a fairly long think. Regardless of whether it's successful, I appreciate the nomination. -- AT(talk | contribs) 14:36, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
How do I use your mod?[edit]
I've downloaded it, now how do I use it in GuildWars? —Ebany Salmonderiel 10:17, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- A guide to creating and using mods is here. Basically, you run Guildwars through a program called Texmod, with the mod package loaded. -- AT(talk | contribs) 14:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- I know that, but I'm struggling to find a program to extract it from a .7z to the right file format.—Ebany Salmonderiel 16:57, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Also on the topic of your UI mod... I like everything except the fogless map. Removing the large clouds is indeed a big help to cartographers, but removing the fog for unexplored areas means I have no idea what I've explored and what I haven't! (Not to mention big black on the map in places that don't have detail...) Maybe make a modular plugin that undoes this change? FoxBat 21:17, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- Zweistein has made a much better cartographer helper, that's here. If you load this higher than quartz in the package list, it'll overwrite the fog textures. Hope that helps! -- AT(talk | contribs) 21:37, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
About recent Vandalism[edit]
I have a strong suspicion who is behind the recent Vandalism ( http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User_talk:70.130.131.46 ). It is a Guru/GWO User who made a rather complicated cartography mod himself. He did not restrict his vandalism to the mod pages alone. I do not know if you are an admin or sysop already, but I recall your name on the RFA pages. Maybe you can tell me who can take actions against such users and to whom I have to report them. --Longasc 16:43, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

- Both of you beat me to it :/ Also, to clarify, no, I'm not a sysop, I've only been nominated. You can see the list of sysops at Special:Listusers -- AT(talk | contribs) 16:50, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Or maybe even Special:Listadmins ;) --Xasxas256 16:54, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

AVT[edit]
Hey, thanks for trying AVT. Of course, it was pretty much at the worst possible time, as I was planning to break the installer file (I added configuration options =P). Anyway, sorry, but you'll have to reinstall AVT T_T MisterPepe talk 02:41, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

NPC age[edit]

Good so far but Year of birth and then showing their birthdate and death besides it implies that their born somewhere in between or it took em that long to be born.--§ Eloc § 23:50, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- See the NPC formatting talk page - I couldn't think of a good enough term :p -- AT(talk | contribs) 23:51, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Your Userpage[edit]
May I use your userpage as a template for mine? I will give credit where it is due. Thanks --Zakek xek 19:17, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, no problem! If you manage to tweak it, let me know so I can steal your ideas :p -- AT(talk | contribs) 19:37, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I think I'm going to change the color scheme a bit, and make the text a teency bit bigger. (it hurts my eyes to read it in Vista for some odd reason)--Zakek xek 19:56, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
MyWikiLinks[edit]
Does everything seem to be working OK with the program? Also, there is a new version of it. Thanks for your help. --Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 00:57, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's working great, thanks! I did tweak it a little for my own tastes, it's here if you're interested. -- AT(talk | contribs) 01:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- OK, good. --Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 01:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have been thinking to add a feature that allows them to add the website in the wiki they are currently on, by clicking something. Do you know how I could do that? --Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 22:19, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- The only way to save data on the wiki between pages is to save it in article pages (including monobook.js). Thus, what you're thinking of is probably not really feasible, since you'd effectively have to have your script modify its own file (via the standard editing interface) and somehow force a hard-refresh. (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 22:22, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm...I was thinking it wouldnt be possible, but it would definetly be way easier. Thanks. --Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 22:23, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- This may be possible using cookies. I'll look into it, as it'd be a nice feature. -- AT(talk | contribs) 01:17, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. Please let me know.—Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 01:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I've put together a group of cookie handling functions here - it allows you to set, get, and delete both single and arrays of cookies. It needs some modification before it'll be of use to your project. Namely, creating a cookieVector object, which should basically be a linked list of cookies with add/remove/peek stuff. The functions in their current form *could* be used, but you'd be limited to a hardcoded number of links, which isn't really useful. I'll work on it starting Friday, as I'm away tomorrow. -- AT(talk | contribs) 02:26, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, Thank you very much. I will be gone until Aug. 18th. That would be great if you found out how that would work. Also, I use...
importScript('User:Rein_Of_Terror/MyWikiLinks/adminscript.js');
...if you would like to use it. It helps me work on the page. I also put your name in the 'special thanks'. I will be back the 18th. Thank you very much for your help. —Rein Of Terror (talk · contributions) 03:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Template[edit]

Hey there, glad you can find some use for the template. Pullus and I are working on them, so they might go through some changes every now and again. Glad you can find some use for it. Alesain 15:51, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- They're great! I didn't realise it was a joint effort though, I'll update my note to give credit to both of you :) -- AT(talk | contribs) 16:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thought you might be interested that I updated the Hero unlock template. It defaults now if nothing is placed in the correct spot, so its not broken on your page, but it might not be accurate if you did some preview weekend stuff in GW:EN. Cheers. -- Alesain 17:48, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

You're remotely normal, I think. Thanks for Wikiswap btw. Anyways, with the max energy possible, I believe 13.6 would be rounded up to 14 on the morale boost, making it 150. Calor - talk 04:01, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Haha, thanks and you're welcome :) As for the max energy, that wasn't my work. I could probably dig through the history of Energy to see who put it in, but it's out of date now anyway - things like consumables and Edification increase it even more. I'll sit down and work it out at some point, but not today :p -- AT(talk | contribs) 04:05, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Fopp[edit]
Hey sorry about that, my first time trying to help this Wiki, didn't know i violated copyright, soz!
- Heh, it's no problem - I'm glad you decided to help out! If you want to contribute to the article, you can put the information used on GuildWiki into your own words. This avoids the licensing issues, as far as I know. Some helpful links would be the NPC Formatting page, image use, and our formatting and policy pages. Finally, could you please sign your comments with ~~~~? Thanks! -- AT(talk | contribs) 20:20, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for understanding man, U ROCK!
