Would you mind posting some screenshots of this? I don't like installing software unless I know what it will do. —Tanaric 19:57, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Guild Watch itself just adds some links to the navigation-portlet. poke | talk 20:14, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Fine. Would you mind uploading a screenshot of it? :) —Tanaric 20:16, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
I haven't installed it because I'm working on a similar script with some more functions ^^ But you only get a new panel with 0-5 links (depending on actual namespace) which redirect you to the editpage. There it automatically fills in the textfields and submits the change. poke | talk 20:44, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
(edit) but as it's just a javascript program, why not try yourself? :) poke | talk 20:45, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Either way, it basically does this (changes depending on the namespace):

User Ale jrb gwtchpic.png

N means notify, in this case. Ale_Jrb (talk) 20:50, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Ah, thanks a bunch. That might be good advertising to stick on the main GuildWatch article. —Tanaric 04:28, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Use[edit]

Now what does it actually do?--§ Eloc § 03:47, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

It speeds up adding tags to pages, basically. Ale_Jrb (talk) 15:44, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
How so?--§ Eloc § 21:04, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
See the image above. GuildWatch adds the toolbox marked with red. Those buttons can be clicked to automatically add certain tags to a page. For example you can easily place a delete tag with any of the common reasons. -- Gem (gem / talk) 21:09, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Can't make up the 3rd link.--§ Eloc § 22:05, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
In that particular case, from top down it goes: 'Notify: Guild Image Deletion Tagged', 'Notify@ User Image Deletion Tagged', 'Notify: Image Deletion Tagged Orphaned' as you are viewing a user talk page, which allows you to notify users if you have tagged their images etc. On different types of pages, you'll see different contextual links. The best way of checking, however, is by trying it out yourself :) Ale_Jrb (talk) 15:43, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Oh icic, I think I'll pass for the moment as I don't look at RC a whole lot and tag images.--§ Eloc § 20:16, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
