User talk:Ardangoeswiki/Archive1
Your post here was misplaced. Nobody gave you "the run around." You would have gotten the exact same response had you posted it anywhere else it didn't belong. The bug reports page is for, you guessed it, bug reports. I highly recommend you make a suggestion in the feedback space like Silver Edge said. While Anet generally doesn't respond to every suggestion, they do read them, and the feature you want may be added in the future if you suggest it.
Your suggestion page has been renamed by someone else to follow capitalization guidelines. You can find it at Feedback:User/Ardangoeswiki. ~Shard 08:47, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- I have moved your Feedback:User page and suggestion to properly capitalize your username Feedback:User/Ardangoeswiki. I have also included the required template on your suggestion, however you need to fill in the categories for it to be listed properly. Please use the Create a suggestion box on your feedback page to submit new suggestions. This will provide you with the instructions on properly submitting suggestions for the developers' consideration. If you have questions about submitting suggestions, please see Help:Suggestions. Improperly submitted suggestions will be tagged for deletion. Thanks! -- Wyn talk 09:36, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Talk page
Please do not remove comments from a talk page unless they are vandalism or cross the GWW:NPA policy. You can, of course archive this talk page. If you need help with that, please let me know. G R E E N E R 18:30, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- So then what *can* I do on Wiki? Isn't it my personal talk page? All I see is a list of what I didn't do right. I thought it'd be nice to erase it all since it's disturbing to my eye. And yes, archive it or whatever you people call it. But I don't like seeing it. Or should I just change my IP and make a new account and start over? It's just a personal thing. I would love to come on and see "NEW MESSAGE" and see it be a real message instead of a "reminder" or a "suggestion" or a "by the way I moved your post because it didn't belong here". You know what I mean? Maybe you can relate, I don't know. Ardangoeswiki 03:12, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- You may absolutely archive topics you no longer need (or want). Just make a subpage like User talk:Ardangoeswiki/Archive1 and paste everything there. Generally, you don't archive active topics, but since this isn't an important topic, nobody will care if you move this entire page. The reason you can't remove talk page text is because it's not yours (even though it is "your" talk page). The only pages you can do "anything" to are your main user pages. ~Shard 03:16, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it would be a lovely world if we could all get a random "How are you today?". But Shard is right when he says that this page isn't quite yours. It's the wiki's way of getting hold of you. Take a look at my talk page, as it's full of people dropping tid-bits of advice or asking why the heck I just did something. So just write back here, with a wave, tell me how things are going, and then I can go and archive this page for you, and it will be almost blank. G R E E N E R 03:26, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- Alright cool, so I can move it then and get it off this page then? I really don't care about the Archived page, I'm assuming that's where useless junk goes. And hardly anyone will check it anyway, unless it's some admin or whoever has some type of keyring and badge. Alright cool, I'll do that then, thanks. Errr.....before I do something and wind up with a "You didn't do it right again, stupid-ass, here's another suggestion" again. I can't cut all of this and paste into the Archive1, I need to just *copy* then paste, right? Ardangoeswiki 03:30, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
- No, you can cut all of this page's text and paste it into an archive, so this page will be (almost) empty when you're done. Just leave a link to the archive at the top somewhere. The {{archive box}} template makes it look nice. If you want, look at my talk page to see how to use it. In fact, if you want, I (or someone else if I'm not around) will do it for you. Just ask. ~Shard 03:41, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
