Ah, happy to help :) one other tip I didn't mention - use {| style="background-color:inherit;" instead of just {| and it will use the background color from the div around it (i.e. blue, not white). Dime Cadmium! 07:19, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Things you need to do...

Hey, noticed you needed to learn how to make subpages, their really easy. For example, all your subpages will be a sub of your userpage (thus keeping it in your userspace). If you wanted to make a characters subpage (or any such page, its up to you), you would first make a link to it on one of your pages. Something like this: [[User:DemonicFahrir/Characters]] (ignore the "nowiki"s that you see here in edit mode, that makes the wiki not code the text into an actual link). This will give you a link to the page (but it does not exist yet). Click the link, and presto, your on the new subpage ready for creation and editing. Just pop that link you made now into the place you want it and your golden. If you now want to include the subpage in another page, you can make the wiki take that page's info (lets call it page 2) and put it into another page (which we'll call page 1) easily, just type it like this: {{User:DemonicFahrir/Characters}}. This will let you "include" the code from page 2 into page 1 without needing all the coding cluttering it up.

Also, for skill icons that link to the skill, its already set up that way if you follow this. If you link to the skill image itself, the one on the skill page, it will link you to that page if you click on it. For example, your favorite skill Vengeance is Ours would be like this: [[File:Vengeance is Ours.jpg]],and ends up looking like this:

As you can see, clicking this picture sends you to that skill's page.

If you wish to make a link to a page, such as the Delver title page, and yet make it say something else, like Adventurous Delver, you can do that too. [[Delver|Adventurous Delver]], Adventurous Delver. The "bar," or | makes the link say something you want, but direct you to something in particular. You could use this for your userbox template to link to your favorite title's page.

The userbox template you are using is unfortunately set for that yellow color, so if you wanted to make a green one, you would need to copy the template code itself on the page, and put it in a subpage of yours. Something like [[User:DemonicFahrir/Userbox]] or something. You would then just change the color variable to what you wanted. If however you are going to use a template of Wyn's, you may no longer need the userbox template and therefor do not need to make your own that is dark green.

When you upload the image, just be sure to check the "User Image" mark underneath the file destination. If you do that plus turn off "Ignore Warnings", wiki will automatically correct the image destination for you. --- Ness Hrin | 17:41, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I didnt put in the tag information (knowing me, Ive probably got to go back and check if I got all my images right...), but the way to name and show, or "Link," an image in a page is all there.--Neithan Diniem 21:42, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Create a link on the page where you want the image to appear. This is also the easiest way to make sure you are naming them correctly. The link should look like: [[File:User DemonicFahrir (imagename).jpg]]. Replace (imagename) with the specific name of the image. This will create a red link on your page (if you have not already uploaded the image). Then just click on the link and it will take you to the upload page. If teh image is already on the wiki, you just link to it the same way you linked to your own image. Find the image, click it (make sure your not redirected to another page first, a small line of text at the top left part of the page will tell you if you were) and copy its full name. Hmm, good link. Anyway, Demonic, my suggestion (though that's all it is) is 3 userboxes per row. Question about my page

I meant my Userpage. It threw me to an error page yesterday which said "Page not found. Error #4xx". That page had weird links and it didn't look like a Guild Wars wiki page. Now it seems to work normally and just gives the option to start editing the page. So everything is in order again. Shira 06:23, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
