Signature

There's a small tutorial on customizing your signature. Be sure to check the ''"Raw signatures (without automatic link)" checkbox in your preferences, this is often forgotten. Mine isn't that complicated. For example, I only changed the font of my name (color and Italics), and added an image. By placing a redirect on the image page, clicking the image will automagically bring you to my talk page, clicking my name will bring you to my userpage. Guild Userbox

How do I change the .png images, for example: obsidian shard.png, so they follow the guidelines of the guildpolicy (all images must contain {{guild image}} ), as I don't want to change anything from the original file :/? Help is much apreciated --Ellisia 16:21, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes tagging your cape image with {{guild image}} was perfect. However everything that comes from the Game also needs to be tagged with {{screenshot}} which I added for you. About that Obsidian Image: You only have to put {{guild image}} on images specificly uploaded for the use on Guild pages. The obsidian shard image is a general image and you can use it in your Guild article aswell (as Section header image for example, which I think you want to do). --SilentStorm 16:36, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Show preview

Did you know you can use the Show preview button to see your edits and continue editing? Only save the page once you have it looking just the way you wish it to look. Not only will this minimize the number of entries on the page history, it also eliminates unnecessary entries on Recent changes that is monitored by many. Thanks! -- Wyn 16:11, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

If it isn't to much trouble could you please verify if the Guild: Dutch Doom Brigade foolows the guidelines? (I still need to find a way to add guildtags to the tab-images (ex: shadow remains.png) I try to follow every policy, but it's a bit overwhelming atm --Ellisia 16:35, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Like I said above you can freely use those generic images as your Navigation Images. However im curious why you put that nasty whitespace back in there Wyn fixed for you? It did look much better in Wyn's Version. --SilentStorm 16:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Tip's on editing

1 Can anyone show me a guide/help me understand how to make curved corners (and curves in general) (for example User:Wynthyst's userpage. just so I know how to do stuff like that in the future

2 How do you use images as backgrounds (if they are not too heavy)

If you click on the History tab, you can go back and see who edited and exactly what they did rather than trying to get them to explain it to you. -- Wyn 19:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Your tabs are a little broken + that the edit buttons are gone. Just that you know it. Archive pages are easy to set up. Just use this without the nowiki thingies: [[User:Ellisia/Archive1|name you want to give it]] |Cyan LightLive!| 07:00, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Or use the more simple version: [[/Archive1|name you want to give it]] |Cyan LightLive!| 07:02, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Tabs

LJ guild page

Yow Ellisia! Could you have a gander at the LJ guild page and see if you can fix the placing of the lion logo's? The 2 boxes to the right (guild + guildhall) kind of mess up the left part... Is there a way to align things better? Sjeng 19:17, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
