Additional Tips[edit]
If a page like this is in turn made available for more public use, should other tips be given, much like Shadow Step and/or Teleportation, that would further exploration? I can give several examples in this way. One being that you can fully explore Dragon's Gullet without foes if you successfully shadow step inside from Flame Temple Corridor. For some reason, at one point it would seem these two areas were meant to be one, without separation. Things like this can make exploring easier. -- Quiesce 22:39, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- I definitely agree, but only in cases where I can keep it simple; IE: Shadow-Step it by using Heroes+Ebon-Escape. (Like the Sunspear Sanctuary for example). Portal hopping with Assassin-Only displacement aura powers strikes me as way-too-niche & trial/error to be worth the time I could be using to focus on image quality (and redoing some of the ones I already made). Especially in higher-end areas where the user might actually need their favorite Secondary powers just to deal with the massive hordes patrolling various areas... the only exceptions are like in the Frost-Gate there where Consuming/Teleporting actually saves a lot more time than redoing the whole mission 5 times over. --ilr 23:39, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Any chance you can do some of the others, I am stuck on 99% for factions, and trying to scrap is just not helping I have spent hours scrapping around tiny bits that dont want to apear, and a few extra bits would help a lot. 202.61.167.50 10:59, 7 December 2009 (UTC)mk
- Are you sure you got all the "end of the world" and portal tricks? According to the other talk page, Faction's landmass is smaller than prophecies and more gimmicky too. B/c of that I planned on doing Nightfall next after I wrap up what's left of Propheices... --ilr 22:39, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
All the ones i Know of, like the top town of the luxon area [the port into town trick] and scraped everywhere i can, if you know of other end of the world bits in factions, please let me know. As i said, I just need 1% .... might even build you a shrine and everything! :) 202.61.167.50 13:52, 8 December 2009 (UTC)mk
Yeah any help or suggestions for Factions would be fantastic, btw Love the page [starting to do Proph now, so this will help a lot :)] 202.61.167.50 04:03, 13 December 2009 (UTC)mk
I'm impressed[edit]
I have to say ilr, this is very nicely done. It's something GWW needs as well. Good job! -- Wyn talk 01:16, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- I would recommend moving the TOC to the right however, to keep it from interupting the flow of reading. -- Wyn talk 01:17, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well thanks! Could I bother you to handle those small edits for example's sake? The reason being is that I can't reliably run anything higher than Firefox 2.1 for interface / plugin / java reasons so columns and scripts(especially tables/Monobook) don't line nearly the same for me as for most people even tho I run at standard 1024. ...I've had communication problems with my own Guild over this and hope to find some work arounds once I can upgrade my own hardware, so it's not like this is permanent or anything... --ilr 03:00, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- I was going to say! This is a great guide. Nice work, indeed. :D --★KOKUOU★ 03:02, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I made a few minor edits, added some spacing to make editing easier (doesn't change the look of the page), removed forced clear spacing on images, as it really isn't necessary, and corrected the heading levels. When you are finished with this, and ready to move it to main space, you should name the page with the title you have as the first header, and then remove that header. I added a comment to that effect. I also removed the underlined text, as underlines are pretty much reserved for links, and if I didn't remove it, poke would have :D -- Wyn talk 03:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yep I'm sure he would / Thx Wyn. I'll try to be a bit more deliberate from here on out; about putting Editing Notes inside the code now that I know other editors are interested in this project... (though you did read my mind on the note about the Article's Title) --ilr 04:13, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

2 minor personal notes:[edit]
One: -- sometime around January after putting together the entire maguuma & southern shiverpeaks... I had a harddrive failure that set me back several months on all this. Two: -- I don't plan on doing Factions anytime soon unless someone can donate or locate me a copy of it for under $15 (Artwork or other offerings would be happily bartered for in the case of donation)...or much more preferably, someone else gets the same tools I have and makes all the necessary screen-caps and instructions as I have... but I'm in no real rush for either of these situations now. --ilr 01:10, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Almost there...[edit]
I think I'm finally to point where I'm ready to break this up into its respective chapters and copy them to the Mainspace (nightfall will go much faster so I'm not worried about it). ...just need the final naming convention that they should be put under. AKAIK, there's no "Guide" naming syntax on this Wiki, only categories themselves. If possible though, I'd like it(or them-->plural) to be as close to the Cartography article as possible. IoW: suggestions requested. ...And a big Thank you everyone who supported this project over the past year. I'm sure it will have been worth it given the final structure we've recently learned about the Hall of Monuments; IE: the focus on quantities of titles & displays making more easily maxed titles like Cartography the clear priority over more involved ones like Drunkard, Treasure Hunter, & Vanquisher. ...wth any luck, this hopefully will also save a few neophytes from the pain of Trojans, keyloggers, and Malware infections they'd face from downloading a tampered texmod from less reputable sources. --ilr 20:03, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
What ever happened[edit]
to this project? 74.173.107.209 15:57, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- It's done?... Nightfall was so easy to 100% it didn't warrant inclusion IMO. --ilr 05:02, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
