I'm not really sure what you mean. I have very limited experience and update the profile rarely. Does my updating affect others somehow? I didnt think anyone other then I was notified of changes.

you can see all edits made by every1 on all changed in recent changes so if you keep saving instead of previewing and only changing 1s you clog up the recent changes :) --Nick123 08:53, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
