Miku, 未来, Future. --Kgptzac 05:38, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- That actually says Mirai, but it does mean future. --Musha 08:27, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Fyi "miku" is one of the ways to spell 未来. --Kgptzac 23:04, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Here's your Japanese lesson. 未来 says mirai. There is NO other way to say it. The 2nd character 来 only reads ku when it is by itself, in which case it is 来る (kuru). Anime is not a good way to learn another language. --Musha 02:33, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

- Couple of things. Keep stuff at where it belongs; in this case, on this page, not my user talk. Second, your condescending Japanese lesson is neither needed nor wanted. I never said what you think I've said. I feel you might benefit from more Japanese lesson (especially on naming) and perhaps some manners as well. And on topic: I see Miku "means" Future the same way the name Leo means lion. Hope it helps. --Kgptzac 05:51, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- I posted on your page because petty arguments about Japanese characters do not belong on a talk page about Miku. These posts are, in fact, OFF topic as they are not related to Miku at all, but on the correct reading of characters. I will oblige the wiki guidelines of not cluttering topic discussion pages with irrelevant posts and kindly advise you to do the same. You may move this discussion to my talk page if it bothers you here. --Musha 02:58, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Well I'm really only interested in intelligent discussion on possible meanings of Miku's name over any kind of "petty arguments" that you seem to have an interest to inflict. So if I were you, I would restrain the urge to post demeaning replies anywhere--be it in my discussion page or beyond. It only ruins the discussion and bring more unpleasantness.--Kgptzac 21:18, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
