GWW:NPA Concerns (pulled from dishonor talkpage)[edit]
You can't leave your comment standing with a question and then say that it's not worth the time, because if you can't defend yourself, then you forfeit any right that you have towards the issue. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm going to assume that you haven't read the GWW:NPA carefully enough because it is very precise on what it's policy states. At best, that comment made was an offense, it was not personal unless the user knows in absolution that your leeching and ragequitting would be true, but unfortunately there is no clear evidence to support your claim, so it does not breach the GWW:NPA. If he said "I know you leech and ragequit in RA, are you sad about the changes?" - That would warrant a personal attack. If you continue to assume that the comment is a breach of the NPA, then your comment "Is Anet on crack?" would be just as offensive, especially when you don't explain why. Please do not respond with comments towards the page in concern because that page is about the effects of dishonor. If you wish to respond further towards issues about the NPA policy then you should to take it to it's respective pages/user pages. Thanks! (Terra Xin 14:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC))
- Huh well this happened quite a while ago, yet it warrants response (even if it's an incredibly slow one). The reason I said it was a personal attack is because the GWW:NPA states "Threats or actions which expose other contributors to political, religious or other persecution by government, their employer or any others." specifically taking note of "actions which expose other contributors to (other) persecution by (any) others." Quite frequently, those whom leech and rage quit during ra matches are the victims of (well deserved) spite. However as I am not one of those people, there was no reason to accuse me of doing these things and doing so is a personal attack specifically directed to get other to persecute me for actions I didn't take. Even still, whether or not he knew for sure if I had done those things doesn't matter, it doesn't give him the right to violate the NPA policy even if he was right. At the time I didn't really care where the conversation went after I stated my opinion, and I still don't care. I'm only writing this to clarify myself where I clearly failed to do so before. --Lou-Saydus 06:37, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
