Hey, thanks for the welcome & the feedback! I'm a total novice to wikis and too short on time to really immerse myself in reading about it, so wasn't quite sure I'm doing things right - thanks for setting my mind at ease :). Hopefully will be staying around and doing more on the wiki once I get more free time, been lurking here for quite a while so it's nice to contribute a bit myself Nate 06:49, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Image cache

Hi Nate! Due to caching issues, it often takes up to an hour for replacement images to appear. Continuing to reupload images simply makes the problem worse. Please be patient and allow at least an hour for a change to occur, and then try purging your browser cache, or forcing a purge by adding ?action=purge to the end of the address line. Thank you so much :) I have to tell you though, I doubt I can claim anything close surpassing your contribution to the wiki - I've been checking up on images-to-update in every area I happen to play and your name just comes up again and again on a lot of the better-looking images all over the place (especially in those hard to reach quests and missions)! Also, you're one of the few that seem to take an effort to get the shots right when uploading an image which I really appreciate, being something of a perfectionist myself ;). Anyway- thank for your words, still a loooong way from getting all those pictures, but I don't have any long trips planned in the near while ;). Nate 21:28, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

image uploads

again, as Liche said, i'm glad to see someone not only uploading lots of images for the mainspace, but also most widely good, clean ones without combat interaction (which Liche sometimes unfortunately didn't manage :P) from a good perspective.
there are regrettably many users which only upload images from their characters à la "Image:User Attentionwhore Sir Whoevencares A Lot Brag armor.jpg". i do not intend to personally attack anyone. (i'm currently also only cotributing in the userspace myself.) it's just that i think it's great also having users like you which are more focusing on the actual wiki content rather than the community part. (which - of course - also is important, altough it's questionable whether doing almost nothing but contributing in one's userspace is reasonable^^...)
therefore i want to thank you for your work so far! the wiki needs people like you to finally get rid of the huge list of missing or bad images and stubs ;) —ZerphaThe Improver 14:24, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot Zerpha :) I really don't get people who sign up here just to build up a huge user page and never contribute (oh, I'll probably make a nice one myself at some point, but *only* doing that?)... Apart from that, working on improving the images in the wiki gave me a fresh focus in the game which was sorely needed seeing as I was getting bored after a couple of years ^_^. Now I find myself appreciating and admiring the in-game visuals and the detailed models all over again, and managing to capture that beauty is immensely satisfying to me (contributing to the community is a nice bonus ;)).
