Hey, would you be OK with me cleaning up the grammar of your About Me page? Normally, I would just do it and expect the person to get over it, but I work with people who have Asperger's so I didn't want to mess with your stuff w/o asking. Karate Jesus 23:35, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sure go ahead, and sry if I made any grammar mistakes I try not to but i'm Dutch. Qaletaqa Hania 23:46, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- Nah, you're fine. I saw that you were Dutch, so I thought I'd try to help out. Grammar is probably the hardest part of languages to pick up (at least it has been for me). Karate Jesus 23:47, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thx for helping out. And grammar has always been one of my weaker points in every language I know so... Qaletaqa Hania 23:55, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you
Thanks for making the suggestion page! -- Wyn talk 21:53, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Np, I never thought it would turn into such a discussion and the last thing I wanna do is bloat linsey's page, it's the least I could do to help. Qaletaqa Hania 21:58, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Asperger's
Just read your profile, then read about it on Wiki. I had though that I had ADD for my entire life; I may in fact have this instead. This is quite a personal revelation for me and I probably need to talk to a shrink to be sure, but 90% of what I read sounded like I was reading my own bio. Just wanted to say thanks for making the connection for me, your description of the way you act really locked me onto it. Fred K 00:48, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- People with Asperger's are often misdiagnosed with ADD because it looks similar but is totally different, so it's possible. Also were you officially diagnosed with ADD or you just thought you had it? Qaletaqa Hania 01:09, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- If you think you have Asperger's and are just now noticing it, then you would have to be one of the lucky few who has an incredibly high functionality (like Qaletaqa) which is incredibly rare. Only around 3-4% are what's considered "high functioning", but Qaletaqa's right, it's often misdiagnosed as ADD, ADHD, or AADD. If you have a psychiatrist, go to him/her and tell them what you're suspecting. There are some pretty precise tests that can determine whether or not you have it and it would be worthwhile to know.
- Hope this helps. Karate Jesus 01:25, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- I was officially diagnosed as ADD very young, particularly because of the auditory perception deficits I had. I never really had a lot of followup after that though; being 25 it would be nice to know because I really do identify with all the main symptoms I read about. Fred K 02:04, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
