Elite Winter's Embrace?[edit]
why not compare it to winter's embraces/Binding chain, those are actually related with only an different condition, the fact that it does all what you said and that it is link to CS is what make people think it's OP. But it's not something that a modest number change can't fix. btw Glimmering mark is pretty bad to begin with--BobbyT 01:57, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Let's compare several reasonable elite versions of Winter's Embrace:
- Elite Winter's Embrace
10 ¾ 8 Elite Hex Spell. (6 seconds.) Target foe moves 66% slower and takes 20 cold damage per second while moving. (Attribute: Water Magic)
- Elite Winter's Embrace
5 ¼ 12 Elite Hex Spell. (6 seconds.) Target foe moves 66% slower and takes 20 cold damage per second while moving. (Attribute: Water Magic)
- Elite Winter's Embrace
10 ¾ 6 Elite Hex Spell. (3 seconds.) Target foe moves 66% slower and takes 35 cold damage per second while moving. (Attribute: Water Magic)
- With the current iteration of Seeping Wound:
- Seeping Wound
5 ¼ 10 Elite Half-Ranged Hex Spell. (7 seconds.) Target foe moves 50% slower and takes 25 damage per second while suffering from a condition. (Attribute: Critical Strikes)
- The comparison would be just as easy; I chose Caltrops and Glimmering Mark because Seeping Wound does pretty much *exactly* what those skills do. Except better. And without without cost, risk, or drawback. is for Raine, etc. 02:24, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Also, I consider Glimmering Mark pretty well-balanced; it's just outshined by everything else right now because everything else is so ridiculous. is for Raine, etc. 02:28, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 02:30, 26 March 2010 (UTC) ¼ elite winter's embrace would not be reasonable, for the same reason ¼ seeping wound is not reasonable. --
- For the sake of people who don't get it, that's because skills that do everything shouldn't be uninterruptable ever. -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 02:31, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
