Derv IAS

Please fix this.. I do not understand why you guys decided to break a good formula. IAS' have always come with a drawback, but for some reason the new Derv's have IAS' that they can spam with no consequences whatsoever. Rites 20:11, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Pious Fury sort of has a drawback... kind of. The drawback to all of the derv IAS skills is, ostensibly, that they aren't 33%. — Raine Valen 22:18, 2 Mar 2011 (UTC)

The drawbacks are 8% less IAS for both, plus:

• More consumption of adrenaline for Heart of Fury, lasts 2 seconds less than Flail at the same attribute level, so you have to use it more often, thus using up more adrenaline with it. Not much more, though.
• Less duration unless an enchantment is removed. To last the same as Flail you must remove the enchantment.

As I see it, It's not that they don't have enough downsides. It's skill like Frenzy and Aggressive Refrain the ones with too big downsides. At least for PvE. MithTalk 00:21, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I forgot, they are linked to the primary attribute, that's another downside, only for secondaries, though. As for Onlsaught, it uses an elite slot. The downside is not being able to use any other elite. MithTalk 02:24, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
