User talk:Rust
Hey Rust, I just noticed your edit of Guild Wars Wiki talk:Community portal. If you have a look at it you can see that every ’’ (i.e. double apostrophe) has been replaced with HTML escape characters.
I don’t know if you used an external editor or something, but whatever has happened it’s not good :) In case you aren’t aware, double apostrophe is wikicode for italic text, and triple apostrophe is wikicode for bold.
I’m going to revert your edit, so I would ask that you please post it again, but instead of clicking the edit link click the “+” link next to edit. This adds a new section, which seems to be what you wanted to do :) scratch that, I forgot that when you use “undo” you can alter the edit slightly, so I will alter the article to remove the changes to the apostrophes that occurred, but in future if you wish to add a new section clicking the “+” link is much better :)
As I said, I’m not sure if you used an external editor or not, perhaps you could shed some light onto this? LordBiro 15:53, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- I’m just using FireFox, so not sure exactly what happened there...I’ve done wiki before, so not sure why this is happening now... @_@ —Rust 15:59, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
