I am realizing that going on this small break when I did was one of the best things I could have done for myself. I have been able to add more music into my Dj equipment, catch up on some much needed sleep and work on various other things. I started Guesting as an infuse monk for another guild this week. They asked me to fill in on Tuesday and then asked me to fill in on Wednesday and Thursday, till their normal infuse monk gets back. I have been learning a lot about monks and everything there is to know about them. Learning the judgment calls, the things to call out, what shields to be sitting on, how your armor should be set up, your skills and when to use them....Its a lot to learn for someone who is new to the PvP side of Guild Wars. I must say that its why I keep trying to monk though. The challenge is part of what makes it interesting. I will not say I am the best there is and I will not say I am the worst. What I can say is that I am still learning and for those willing to give met he chance to keep trying, you deserve a thank you. I know its hard to count on your team or hard to know that your team will live, if you don't know if the monk knows what they are doing. So thank you for letting me try, thank you for giving me the chance to learn more. What I have learned from the GvGs that I have done is that, the job of a monk is not to keep them alive but to stop them from dieing. To make sure they have enough buffer zone that they can take some damage and still live before needing a heal. So that's what I have been doing in the evening. Other things I've been doing since I took a little time off air: Got my r4 in Kurzick (Luxons still rule! I still have my r4 in Luxon, which is still higher then my Kurzick one.) and I've unlocked all my monk skills. I am 4 elite skills away from unlock all my elementalist skills. So that means I have all my mesmer skills unlocked, all my monk skills unlocked and almost all my elementalist skills. I think I will start working on unlock Rit/Necro next. So Blade Radio's Jingle Jangle is right around the corner. This will be a very fun event. For 12 days straight Blade Radio & Daniel Frozenwind will do tons of give aways. Its going to be a run off of "12 days of Christmas", however its "12 Days of Winter's Day" and part of our Jingle Jangle event. So I am going to give you a little insider scoop on what we have to give out, since I'm the one planning it. ^_^ As everyone has heard on air, at one time or another, we will be giving out a brand new pc, a stack of ectos and a set of fow armor. What you don't know is some of the other stuff we will be giving out. For instance some stuff from Metal Blade Record, such as a few signed posters, a few cds and a few signed cd booklets. That not including what we have worked on in game as part of the normal stuff to give out. So I hope everyone is going to check it out, cause we are all working very hard on it for you guys. Well I better go read up more on the monk bars for GvG as well as more on the PB and FC (Fast cast) water snare Mesmer. I will try to post more in a few days to help you guys keep up to date. Oh! Before I forget don't forget that Blade Radio will be at CES and is giving away another pc there. Also if you haven't entered the YaRR Video contest you should. 300k is going to first place, 200k to second place and 100k to 3rd place, so go do your best! Much love you guys. ^_^ 11-16-08 - 11-26-08 Hey you guys! I know its been a while since I updated my journal, so I decided to do that now. :P So anyhow, we have all been very busy. Dj Trinity is going to be starting as a dj this week. ^_^ Her training got finished. I know I have 3 autographs I still have to send out. I keep saying that I'm going to do it that day...and then something comes up. I have to find the email addresses and get those out soon. If you were one of those 3 people, thank you for being so patient. Winter's day is coming along. Its going to be very big. I can't even tell you guys how big, but I am currently looking at the plans for that. ^_^ What I can tell you guys is someone will win a stack of ectos, someone will win fow armor and another person will win a brand new computer. so its gonna be off the hook. Hmmm...Been a while since I mentioned what I am doing in game I guess. I have unlocked all my mesmer skills for this account. I'm working on monk and ele which between the 2 is like another 33 skills. There are actually alot of skills for an account that has all the games. There are 1,236 skills for an account that has: Nightfall, Prophecies, Factions & Eye of The North. At least that is according to the Balthazar guy. Out of those 1,236 skills I have unlocked 696 skills, only 540 to go. ^_^ I have been learning to monk for GvG still. I started learning to prot instead of heal now...I think healing is easier then prot XD. I need to learn how to deal a PB (Power Block) mesmer though. Anyhow, I have a show on air now. Filling in for a few people. So I am in yak bends ad 1. So I will update more later you guys! Much love!!! 9-30-08 - 11-16-08 Okay you guys, sorry its been a long time since I have updated my journal. I have got to say that I have been very busy, so I hope you guys can forgive me. So late September early October I got very busy with planning into the Nights Of The Mini Pets Event. So lets go over quiet a few things here....Nights Of The Mini Pets was a very huge event! We gave out almost 800 mini pets, we also gave out such things as: 800k (8 sets of 100k); A req 10 almost perfect, purple crystalline sword of fortitude; celestial sigil; celestial compass; armbrace of truth...We also gave out tonics, party animal stuff, sweet tooth items, dyes, alcoholic stuff and tons more. XD We have had gave out alot! I will post pictures later...Though I have a youtube video dedicated to the event where even the McTiggers showed up!!!! Biggest Halloween Parties in Guild Wars during 2008 Daniel and Queen Malifide did their event "King and Queen's Horroween"! That went off very well to! Then don't forget the [Rain] Alliance video contest where we helped co-sponsor. There were 15 honorable mentions and 6 top winners. There was a movie maker that caught wolfie's eye and they received an honorable mention from him! Hmm...So all 3 days went by pretty quick, it was alot of fun. ^_^ We tried to be as fair as possible. Around the same time the Bots Alliance helped me get my Chaos gloves as a birthday present! So thank you guys so very much! I also got the Bandana for my monk. ^_^ She looks awesome! She has drelver armor now which is dyed purple. ^_^ To go with the outfit I have my chaos gloves, plus a wonderful mini that Seductive Shawty gave me! ^_^ thanks again for the Mini Mallyx. Hmmmmm what else to tell you guys? Ct & Kelli had Queen Kitiara on air during the 2nd of November. I decided to put my application into ZoS and try to join their guild, I was accepted into the guild on October 26th ^_^. I've had alot of hanging out with my friends in the guild. I've made some new friends and learned new things. I have started getting into pvp more. I use to ab quiet a bit, but thats not really pvp. I got into HA right before the big double fame weekend, where starcraft got his r15. Speaking of r15 I hadn't seen it in person and Leeloof showed me! Omg that dragon is some awesome and pretty!!! Alright, now on to other news! I got the vabbian armor for my mesmer...Its so pretty! I have it dyed purple and blue, so it looks like royal purple! I unlocked 2 new armor pieces for my pvp mesmer! My pvp mesmer (Ally Chalahara) now has the Mesmer Kurzick armor top & the Mesmer Elite Canthan armor top. ^_^ So she looks so awesome!!!! Besides that I've been learning to gvg as a monk. Being a monk is very hard. I have learned I am not a very good prot monk, but I am decent at healing. So I hope I can learn more and do better for the guild. ^_^ Besides that we have already started working on the winter's day event!! For those of you that haven't heard about some of the goodies we are giving out for winters day, allow me to post them here: 1 stack of ectos (to 1 lucky listener); a set of fow armor (to 1 lucky listener); & a computer (to 1 lucky listener). Like I said, that is all we have revealed so far. So you'll have to tune to find out more. Oh yea, besides all of that Blade Radio now has a user page :P Since its a Guild wars based wiki, only things to do with Guild wars will be posted on it XD. Like your guys' fan art and such ^_^. What else to tell you guys.... I want to thank everyone who donated towards the fow armor, you guys made our work alot easier. You all rock! Before I forget, thank you Jess!!!! You are so awesome. For those of you that dont know, Jess (Xxx Jess Xxx) was my first guild leader in guild wars. I've only been in 3 guilds. She was awesome and helped me get started. I learned very quickly that alot of people weren't as kind or as helpful. So Jess helped me see what I wanted to do. I wanted to give back to the community. Kind of like when you see the guy on the street begging for money...You dont know if its for food or if its for alcohol, but you take the chance and help them out anyhow. Even if it was for alcohol, you still helped him get what he thought he needed. I saw alot of people asking for help and having a hard time getting gold. I remember having nothing when I entered the game and Jess helped me. So when I became a dj one of my goals was to give back as much as I could. Over the past couple months that Blade Radio has been around...Since at least July, we have giving out over 11 million's gold worth of stuff in game and tons of real life prizes. I have Jess a long thank you. She has no clue it ment to me to have her help me. I am happy I am able to give back to the community just like she did in her own way. So Jess thank you for that and for the Kuunavang you gave me as a late birthday present/early Christmas present. ^_^ I have named my Kuunavang Jess, after you. ^_^ So now I have my Water Djinn - Ashera; Mini Charr - Chompers; Temple Guardian (Thanks for this one Yenna) - Binary and my Kuunavang named Jess. ^_^ My other minis dont have names but thats okay. Also...Yenna threw a great party today! Thanks for inviting me Yenna!!! Anyhow I better get going.
