Guildpage[edit]
- The guild pages policy requires that the
{{guild}}
tag be included at the top of the page to mark it as an article on a guild. - Guild pages should also include the template
{{guild infobox}}
, which stores basic information about the guild. - Information regarding the alliance the guild is in should be represented by the
{{alliance nav}}
template. This template allows for links to the guild that leads the alliance as well as all member guilds in the alliance. Remove it if the guild is not in an alliance.
Now in the last 2 guidelines it says should does that mean it's obligatory? I don't like the looks of them but still I provide all the information. The {{guild}}
will be in wiki code of course. Are there any more violations on this guild page? Thx -- (Tribina / talk) 16:17, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be a major problem if you use a custom infobox and add some extra formatting to the page, as long as it conforms with the basic details of the {{guild infobox}} (i.e. only the look of it has changed} and the guidelines (i.e. it doesn't add any of the stuff that is disallowed). Of course, the guidelines are only guidelines, but it shows what is generally considered "acceptable" on the wiki. While not a policy violation, it's still probably better if you use the normal infobox.-- Brains12 \ Talk 16:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
