Hello GW2 Team,
I've been searching for a way to get in touch with you pretty much time. Hopefully, I have been given directions through facebook.In addition to this, as I am certain many people would like to share their ideas with you, I consider it to be a good idea to provide more instructions in your FAQ about how to contact you.
To begin with,as I did not have the chance to play the game and was able to solely watch it through youtube videos some of my thoughs may have already been implimented. I will just name few minor things that crossed my mind and i think it would make Guild Wars 2 the best game out there:
1) -Flying ability- Well, to tell you the truth I've seen some aircrafts in videos but it wasn't clear enough. Mounting a small creature with wings would be just awesome.Not to travel from one location to another and lose our time, but if some quests required to fly ,collect things,kill flying mobs and stuff it would b nice. Or also to reach some areas-towns only through flying... Not to mention that towns in the sky, OR EVEN FLYING ONES, will be something unusual and make the game more special,original. And in addition with all the effects and graphics being used...IT WOULD ROCK!!
2) -Swimming ability- Ok for this i have not much to tell as i noticed there are such things. However, bear in mind: Ability to control ships-complete certain quests, going rides with a submarine ship, taking pots to make charactes suit in the underwater environment (develop gills and scales or something) to gain speed or increase their lung capacity.
3) -General characters' abilities- Allowing players to fly,swim,run,jump,dodge and also some of less importance like dance,greet each other,couple dancing,Hi5 would make it even better, desirable and interesting.
4) -Areas - Ground Adjustments- Having few different types of ground. For instance, some may be very hot, or even have lava rolling on the ground so we take damage if stay too long. An ice one , we get slowed or we slip.haha this would be funny in a mini-game-event, slipping in the ground. I think it is going to be fun , having a variety and not just a standar one.
5) -Donation list- I am sure there's gonna be a list of things that players can buy with real money for in-game items. My personal opinion is that everything else apart from cosmetic items does affect the game. Because people can sell them and get items or money in exchange. I just hope you won't ruin such a perfect game. I truly understand that you may miss a lot of money, but players would truly appreciate it if you could make it as much balanced as you can. Items obtainable only via paypal sucks. If there's not gonna be anything like Store for donation then i'm sorry for making pointlessly the text above.
6) -Equipment- I've seen quite a lot of costumization opportunities as far as face and body are concerned when creating a character. Adding some hats,rings,necklakes,earnings,bracelets,belts,eye patches or even tattooes will have fun : )
7) -Realistic Features- Add ( if there are not already ) some things for a more realistic approach. Rivers, waterfalls, bridges, some friendly animals passing by ( for example Bees or Flies )and so on.
I am sure many of my ideas have already been discussed among your members as your teams consists of a large amount of people and propably smarter and for sure more experienced than me. I am not a programmer or anything proffessional, I'm just a gamer and i felt i could offer my help (if needed at all). Anyway, I would like to thank you for your time reading this.
