My skill unlock template...
is being weird. I spent hours working on it, and while the appearance is fine, something is wrong with any skill that has an apoostraphe on it (Nature's Renewal, Zojun's Shot, Tiger's Fury, etc.). I don't know what's wrong with the code, but I know that for the images, I had to add the %22 or %25 or something in front of them for some reason instead of the apostraphes or else the picture wouldn't show up. And now when I type for example Zojun's Shot = yes, it doesn't register to add a check mark to mean yes, it still sees it as being no. I don't know why, because it's typed in the exact same way in the code, unless there's something messed up with the apostrophes again. Could you please help me? I based it off your PvE/Elite skill template. hehehe Thanks, sorry about that. :( The link is here. Thanks! Tender Wolf

- Ironic, because I switched to OpenOffice because Word did nothing I wanted it to (properly, at least) and cost a lot more to boot. :/
- I use two text editors: OpenOffice.writer for things like letters and essays where the ability to change your font and set formatting by paragraph are useful, and Crimson Editor for coding (because automatic indents, linked brackets, syntax highlighting, and line numbering are all excessively useful for debugging [which of course is around 80% of the work]). -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 03:25, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why you found it difficult to set formatting by paragraph in Word, it's extraordinarily simple. For extensive coding, I can see using something else, but for wikicode, Word is fine. -- Wyn talk 03:29, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

GWG Auction "Custom Start/Stop Times"
I'm sure you're probably aware that you can't use the custom start/stop feature for auctions since the option "2010" doesn't appear in the year drop-down menu. Think I'll be fixed any time soon? I like running my listed auctions to start and stop all at once to keep track of things better. Thanks in advance for your reply. -- Natures Spirit 06:59, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, please keep Guru stuff on Guru. You will find a forum thread about this. Our programmer is and has been looking into it and as of yet has not been able to find the problem. -- Wyn talk 08:26, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Oops
I'm very sorry about that. I'm trying to leave a suggestion, but I'm confused as to where it needs to go... If there's an actual page i can go to for editing i don't know where it is. Stubborn code lol
Hey again! I've made a new template, but the info in it isn't very big, so I tried to shrink it down to 50% instead of 100%, but I think it would look much better if the two boxes were next to each other. The template is my hero template, and I thought maybe the ranger list could go next to the warrior one, the monk below the warrior with the necromancer next to it, and so on. Was wondering if you could perhaps help me out with that? Thanks a lot! :) *hides* I wish I wasn't such a code noob...rofl Oh, and while I'm at it, I want to use your PvE skill template (2nd one) but I'd like it to be expandable. I've tried to do it here, but no luck, so...yeah. hehe If you have some spare time, and it's not too much of a burden, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks! :) Tender Wolf
- Given that there are a total of 26 heroes in the game, I wouldn't think you'd want to make it two columns or 50%, unless you are going to do 2 rows of 13. then what you have to do is create a table within the frame that is two columns wide....
- I have to be totally honest with you and tell you that I am in the early stages of building a wiki for another MMO basically from scratch, so I don't have a lot of time to be doing extensive new templates here atm. -- Wyn talk 01:31, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, I'll try that suggestion. :) No biggie. :D Tender Wolf
thank you
Thank you for fixing the cape pic on my guild page, we really appreciate it. Varn Carnage [RATM] --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.246.142.37 (talk).

- We don't need advertising spam on the main page talk. I can't see anyone objecting to it's removal. -- Wyn talk 11:57, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Hello Wynn
I know it's been a while since i stopped in to ask you a Question. But I hope all is well with you. I am alright getting ready to move, so i'm trying to handle this matter before i leave. But i uploaded a Logo that the MS Society Gave us for Gaming Worlds Next Community Event. So I uploaded it up on there and It was marked for deletion. I, as well and Barbie, expressed why we have it up there with The permission of the Donation Group we are using for this Group. Toga_Party And with out any warning or a reason for us to discuss it it was deleted this morning. Now i know how wiki has this thing on copyrighted Images. But this Image is copyrighted by the company but it's Their Community Logo, meaning anyone can add it to Their event pages that are supporting the cause. I'm trying to Understand How we are not allowed to use it, since our event is in the Game of Guild Wars. We are trying to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. We have done with before For the Red Cross/Haiti. So if maybe a better explanation can be told to me, I would appreciate it. I have for now have put up a Alt Picture pretty much saying what the previous Picture said but it doesn't have "Copyrighted Content". But i would prefer to use the Logo that the MS Society provided for us. Any Help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks for your Time Wynn :)Kelli 01:35, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, because it is copyrighted by a third party, it is not available for use here. I'm sorry. Please see our GWW:COPYRIGHT policy for further information. If the owner of the copyright were to upload it here, thereby releasing it as a GFDL image, then it would be fine, but it is doubtful they would be willing to do so, not many organizations do. While they may have released it as Fair Use, Fair Use does not apply on GWW, and never has. This is something the ArenaNet legal team has been very adamant on, and I don't believe there is any reason they would change their position, nor do I feel it is right for us to make an exception (this would set a dangerous precedent). -- Wyn talk 04:24, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Gems Of Destiny
Hi Wyn,
I was browsing the Wiki when I saw your user page, that took me to the guild page. I have been playing GW for a couple of years but I have not joined a guild. I am interested in joining your guild if it is accepting new members. I have six characters, several are level 20. I am willing to help, particularly with the missions and quests that I have completed, but I am always willing to help regardless of my knowledge of the adventure. I am leaving you a message here because I read in your user page to do so in case one was interested in the guild. Thanks in advance. Renegmata 17:01, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Please disregard the request.I have joined another guild. Thanks anyway. Renegmata 14:39, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- I hope you find a good fit. To be quite honest, I'm not playing Guild Wars much at the moment. The guild is still semi-active, with a few people who still play daily, but at this time, I'm not really looking for new members. Have fun playing! -- Wyn talk 15:06, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
