Norn Tournament Build[edit]
Was thinking if you can tell me the attribute rank for each attribute. Thanks.

- Knowing precisely which build you are referring to would help. Vili 03:05, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- If you are talking about the warrior one I posted on the talk page, keep in mind that it was pre-ursan nerf. It should still work, but the lower damage could hurt. I don't remember the exact attributes, very likely it was a balanced 11,10,10 spread on swordsmanship, strength and tactics. --Xeeron 18:08, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Yes, and thanks. Captain Armin 21:39, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- You're using Ursan, I'm not sure how you could lose. >.> Vili 04:11, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- The whole idea behind the build is that Ursan beats every opponent, apart from bison himself. So the rest of the 7 skills can be made purely anti-bison. The only worry I have is that with the new timed ursan, the form might run out before you have killed the opponent, not sure whether that is going to happen vs anyone. --Xeeron 09:50, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Might have issues with Mhenlo if you've got lousy timing. Argo could also be annoying now that the second slash no longer ignores armor.
- With Sneak Attack, you can keep Magni blinded most of the time (all of the time with high Ebon rank), so that would work out alright with Dolyak Signet to prevent KD. You should also consider using Disarm instead of Savage Slash, imo. Vili 10:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Even at the lowest rank, you can keep up blind 100% of the time (except when he uses purge signet), so the other skills apart from sneak and ursan are pretty much optional. Dolyak and heal sig make sense for those occasional hits he might get despite blind, but I am sure other good warrior bars would work as well. --Xeeron 10:35, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- At the lowest rank, you'd blind for 5 seconds, and 5 seconds is also the recharge. The fastest you'd be able to swing your sword is 1.33 seconds, so there will be very small window where he could possibly hit you. But yeah. (You are using a Zealous weapon, right?) Vili 20:26, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if you wanted to, you could back away just before the 5 seconds end and use the fact that his hammer attacks slower than your sword, but truth be told, I never bothered because I had a vanguard rank > 2 at the time. Also, what would you need a zealous weapon for these days? The non-ursan skills surely can do with 2 pips. --Xeeron 21:57, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- I would assume that spamming Sneak Attack plus your other energy skills would run you out of energy eventually. Vili 00:39, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, I calculated what you would need and it seems you are right. I never noticed because I had a zealous weapon for Ursan anyway, but even disregarding savage (which you should not spam on recharge), you would run out of energy eventually without some extra boost. Of course, since you can stay alive indefinitely with healsig+sneak attack, you could to without it, but it should speed up matters at the end. --Xeeron 22:37, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Concerning the Upcoming Deletion[edit]
I know it's been said that you will moving unclaimed suggestions to your user space. I thank you, but I how do we inform you that we have claimed a page? I've already claimed the only page I'm going to claim and move it's content here to my user space, and the last thing I would want is to have wasted space with the same page in two locations on the wiki. This is my only move, so mentioning it on this talk page should be enough, but you should probably mention it to others how they should alert you to the pages they are claiming.--Ryan Galen 19:04, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- All suggestion pages that are left in the ArenaNet namespace are "unclaimed" because nobody moved it before. So by moving it, you remove it from the ArenaNet namespace (except for the redirect). poke | talk 19:06, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm guessing here that a number of pages have not been moved, but rather copied. Perhaps by users that did not know about the move function. Or understand it. Or think they were allowed to use it. Backsword 19:28, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- We might end up with some "double" pages that way, but I don't think that hurts us. If we find out, we can always delete them. As a bonus, if someone just copied the page, by moving it, we also preserve the history. --Xeeron 11:17, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, if someone copied a page, they should mark the page for deletion and move the original page with the history over to that place (same when someone else notices that). And it wouldn't be a problem if by that time the suggestions are already in Xeeron's userspace. poke | talk 15:58, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, it has been moved properly now... now how do I delete the copied page? Closest I can find on instructions are here, and I'm not really sure if the term instructions apply in this situation.--Ryan Galen 05:06, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- They have already been tagged for deletion, and will be taken care of by a sysop. BTW Ryan, I corrected the categorization of the suggestion page so it appears on the links list on the main suggestion page. -- Wyn 05:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Just fyi. see our deletion policy and the deletion template to see how you can mark a page for deletion. poke | talk 17:20, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you Poke, that is what I needed. Wyn... it was not my intent to directly link to that page, but there is no harm in doing so now and changing it later when I'm ready to create the master page for my suggestions. And... I believe that raps up this topic of discussion. Thank you for your help.--Ryan Galen 14:52, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

GW2 suggestions[edit]
I moved the GW suggestions now to /suggestions/ - do you want the GW2 ones mixed into the same subpage structure, or do you want me to move them to an extra space? Like /suggestions/GW2/ poke | talk 21:18, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- I guess an extra subspace would be better to avoid confusion. --Xeeron 21:20, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- /suggestions/gw2 is perfectly fine. --Xeeron 21:25, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- So, it seems your index is chalk full of GW1 suggestions, what happened to all the GW2 suggestions? Having trouble finding some old stuff of mine from waaaaaaay back... (Satanael 03:54, 8 July 2009 (UTC))
- The gw2 suggestions were not moved yet, didn't have the time to do that, and I'm not sure now if it is worth moving it or we should rather delete them all to prevent people from being influenced by suggestions of others and as such are no longer able to post in the feedback namespace. poke | talk 07:21, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Tough issue, I mean, some people may want to use their old ideas, or at least just have a record that they posted the idea back in '07. I did end up finding the idea I was looking for, but it took me quite a while to find it. To be honest, the old GW2 suggestions, where they are now, are so buried I would be surprised if anyone bothers to go find them to plagerize in the first place. On the other hand, the risks may outweigh the benefits of keeping them. I would favor either quietly just leaving them there or the other extreme, complete deletion. (Satanael 14:20, 8 July 2009 (UTC))
- I guess my page is not all that prominently linked so that we should not have to bother about any undue influence. Similar to the GW1 suggestions, I feel we just should have them archived somewhere in case someone wants to look something up. --Xeeron 15:29, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

October 2009 bureaucrat election[edit]
You probably won't notice (either) unless someone pings you on your talk page; so here I am: You were nominated. poke | talk 16:34, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
- Bad timing, since I was away on holidays, I guess in any case, there was no shortage of other good candidates, so no harm done. --Xeeron 11:20, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
