User talk:Xeeron/Guild Wars Wiki:Be Happy
Strongly oppose. If people are unhappy they will also be more serious, they'll joke around less. And, of course, it is a well known fact that serious attitudes lead to a better overall quality of the contributions an editor makes on the wiki. Since this policy promotes exactly the opposite of unhappiness (which is often called "happiness"), it's also indirectly promoting far more sloppy contributions; we'll very probably end up with 1,000,000 joke articles around the wiki which no one bothers deleting because, lets face it, no one likes to delete or ban if they're all cheery and hippy hoppy happy. Thus, to sum up, if happiness is allowed to exist anywhere on the wiki then it's incredibly obvious that this whole place will become decayed and corrupted and all poopoo. It is for this reason that I am strongly opposed to this policy, and I suggest the author of this idea is taken out back and shot, just to scare away anyone else that might have such dangerous ideas for the future of this wiki. I propose changing the shortcut name to GWW:HAPPY. Support/oppose/pancake? --Rezyk 19:29, 15 February 2007 (PST)
- I'll go in on the pancake if and only if we can also syrup. — 130.58 (talk) 19:32, 15 February 2007 (PST)
