I honestly doubt cost would be an issue. There are people out there with 20 character slots or 3 accounts, 3 campaigns, and bonus packs, mission packs etc. This means the average game owner has already spent 160$ to 220$ in the last 3 years... Provided the statue wasn't much more than the cost of a campaign (and shipping and handling) it'd sell easy. Ask the community.

And chances are 90% of other players have "favourite" characters they've come to identify - or others have come to identify them - with. A statuette would cement their allegiance to GW and ease the pain of leaving the character "in the past" when GW2 comes out.

Yeah, this is a great idea, I would definately buy several figurines. Though I can see this isn't something easily set up. Not hard to make basic bodies, but all the different faces, hairdo's and armors, even if weapons would be opted out or kept basic. Still it will be profitable for Arenanet, I'm sure.
