Rather than reducing their cost, I think that each crater should have one different skin set. Those with the 'common' skin set of the campaign, would cost 1k+materials per piece, and the ones with skins for the areas (Istani, Shing Jean, Kaineng, Kurzick, Dwarven, etc...) would cost more. For example, when you are in the Jade Sea, you can see the Jade set dropping all over the place. It's not a rare set at all, so it would be the used for Jade Sea Weapon crafters. End game areas crafters would have their end-game sets in gold names, too like with Prophecies. I think that would be better, just using common skins to make craters have different skins in different areas. MithTalk 21:37, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

- And like in Eye of the North, at least one of the crafter of each region could have empty inscription slots, provided they keep the color blue. That way, in the Jade sea, you could get some typical properties (like +15%^50 or +5 energy), but since it's impossible to have them all, for the rest you could get the empty inscribed one and get the upgrades on your own (weapon upgrade trader would help for that). Yet still, only the end-game crafters would have the gold colors, to maintain the 'drop quality' for weapons that drop. They could even make crafted items have yellow names or dark blue instead of light blue, and allow name colors to be shown when pinging equipment. MithTalk 14:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
