- omg spoiler so we've chosen of all dolls the two as our favorites that weren't restored to life at the end of the anime ;.; /spoiler —ZerphaThe Improver 15:40, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- ya, it's a shame their rosae mysticae were stolen by suigintou. - Y0_ich_halt 16:08, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- wasn't the actual reason why they couldn't be retrieved because they are the only dolls who were not killed by barasuishou, the "fake doll" from Rozen's apprentice? 18:46 ^^ Yet suigintou was repaired at the beginning of rozen maiden träumend despite being defeated by shinku, that's a strange contradiction... And at the end of rozen maiden träumend ep12 (19:55) you can shortly see "the rabbit" with their rosa mysticae...there are many open questions left; it's a really strange ending O.o —ZerphaThe Improver 19:43, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- that's exactly what i said. suigintou stole their rosae, and since she's a legal member of the alice game they couldn't be retrieved. suigintou herself could be resurrected because shinku hadn't took her rosa after defeating her. there wasn't anything unclear for me. the only question that's left for me is: what/where's the real seventh rozen maiden? and with that, why was it known barasuishou would be the seventh as if she were really one of their sisters? - Y0_ich_halt 20:03, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- omg spoiler so we've chosen of all dolls the two as our favorites that weren't restored to life at the end of the anime ;.; /spoiler —ZerphaThe Improver 15:40, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
(Reset indent) but shinku didn't take hinaichigo's rosa either when she defeated her in the early begginig of rozen maiden. shinku said Rozen would have cut the tie that provided Hina indirectly with Jun's energy, and for that reason she "felt asleep" and her rosa went to shinku.
barasuishou was believed to be the seventh doll because she introduced herself as such to shinku in one of the first episodes of träumend.
this rabbit is stranger to me, because he also apparently supports rozen's apprentice for some reason.
The "real" seventh doll's name is only mentioned in the manga (i looked that up in wikipedia :P), though you can see her for a few seconds in the anime with the rabbit as well. —ZerphaThe Improver 20:22, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- didn't they talk like they always knew the seventh doll's name was barasuishou? what exactly are you trying to say about hina? i don't really get your point. o.o - Y0_ich_halt 21:19, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- maybe you forgot about that part, but shinku tried to hide the message about the seventh doll at first, but then she told the others after souseiseki said to her that she has to tell it if her secret was about the alice game.
Now to the hina-issue again^^: her and souseiseki are the only two dolls that couldn't return to normal. you said that'd be because suigintou stole their rosa. but she only stole the rosa of souseiseki. hina lost the alice game to shinku in one of the first episodes of rozen maiden when she broke the tie between her and tomoe in order to save her life. shinku didn't take her rosa; and provided hina with her energy which she again tapped from jun, making jun indirectly the medium of hina. In rozen maiden träumend ep10, hina gets tired because their father breaks - according to shinku, see 8:15 onwards - the tie between her and hina. because of that, hina didn't get any new energy, and felt asleep. her rosa then went to shinku, as she once won the fight. (she was also still keeping hina's rosa when she gets killed by bara, though that doesn't make any difference.) Finally, the conflicting point: shinku didn't take hina's rosa mystica, but unlike suigintou, Rozen didn't/couldn't return her, though. (On the other side, suigintou is a survivalist anyways: She gets raped three times. The first time - in the ouverture - when she gets torn apart by souseiseki, she was alive without a rosa, which is normally impossible. Shinku assumed that the reason for this were her strong feelings towards the father.) sorry for this wall of text, lol. i hope you understood this time what i was trying to point out :P —ZerphaThe Improver 22:36, 3 September 2008 (UTC)- Did you really need to do that? lol couldn't you of just typed it in german? — Seru Talk 22:43, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- this one is the savest way, isn't it? :P oh btw@yo maybe it's also because suigintou didn't have a medium and couldn't lose a tie with a ring at the time she was defeated by shinku, that could be the reason of the contradiction...maybe^^ oh yeah, and if you want to stop me right now with this, i'll do so :P —ZerphaThe Improver 22:57, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

- @zerpha: no, i do remember the part of shinku trying to hide it. my problem is, didn't she only try to hide the fact that bara appeared, but regardless they had always known the name would be barasuishou? about the other issue, suigintou was killed by barasuishou and her rosa went to shinku, so she could be retrieved. souseiseki was killed by suigintou so she couldn't. hina was defeated by shinku so she couldn't be retrieved either. the important point isn't where their rosa went but who they were defeated by. and as long as that one's a legal member of the alice game, the rosa stays where it went. at least that would explain it :P - Y0_ich_halt 15:17, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- At least i can't remember that they reacted as if they always knew her name. And about the other thing: I know that it's important who killed them rather than where their rosa went. My point was that suigintu lost the alice game to shinku at the end of rozen maiden, yet she became retrieved at the beginning of rozen maiden träumend despite having been defeated by shinku, a legal member. On the other side, she didn't have a medium at this time, unlike souseiseki and hina at the time they got defeated. —ZerphaThe Improver 13:43, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- but suigintou was defeated by barasuishou, not shinku o.O 3:36 onwards - Y0_ich_halt 13:56, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, i'm aware of that, but that's not what i'm refering to.^^ As i said somewhere above, suigintou was raped three times, once in each season: rozen maiden (ep 12;10:52 ), rozen maiden traumend (ep12; 3:34, as you said) and rozen maiden ouverture (ep2; 12:33). The first time she gets raped (or rather the second time if you follow the timeline) - in rozen maiden, the first season, shinku defeated her, yet she was returned to life somewhere in rozen maiden träumend. In episode6, she remembers that when she meets with bara (12:49), and bara states that only "their father" could repair broken dolls, and that it was done for the alice game... (btw, Shinku asks at 20:15 for bara's name) —ZerphaThe Improver 17:16, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- when shinku asked her name she didn't even think of her as a rozen maiden doll yet afaik. i haven't watched ouverture yet, but in first season suigintou is pwned by jun. lookie 10:47 - Y0_ich_halt 17:41, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- now you mention it, it could possibly really have been jun, that would explain it all. though suigintou states in träumend episode6 that it was shinku who turned her into junk, and shinku also blames herself for her death in the first episode. —ZerphaThe Improver 17:48, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

- when that clock is wrong, it's most likely a cache issue. to solve it, press ctrl+F5. not sure if that works in ie, if it doesn't, click the clock next to your user name at the top. when the page is reloaded the box should also give the right time again. it works for me, so tell me if the problem is still there for you. - Y0_ich_halt 22:18, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- You could use the {{time}} template but that uncaches the whole page. — Seru Talk 00:08, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yay thx alot, that solved the problem. Both options given by Y0 did actually, but I like clicking the clock on top of the page the most ^^ (and I think I just leave it with that and not go change the userbox - cuz I like it better when it's

Anker-Funktion?
Servus, Ich arbeite in letzter Zeit wieder etwas an meiner Page und wollte jetzt mal was neues ausprobieren.
mfg: --Maria Murtor 17:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Meinst du Anker-Links? Die kannst du normal mit
[[#ankertitel|klick]]
ansprechen.
- Y0_ich_halt 19:50, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

- yup, worms. those were always fun, although i like the insta-kill cluster granade more. in case you didn't know, in worms 2 if you placed a cluster granade on a worm's head, all clusters would detonate immediately and kill the worm regardless of current health. - Y0_ich_halt 15:22, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- when talking about the best weapon, the concrete donkey is by far the best one. seriously, that thing's seriously OP in Worms Armageddon :D And the poor mole is too weak compared to super sheep, banana, mad cows or the holy hand grenade. - unfortunately the bullet sometimes stuttered on a point and exploded without finding getting to the target i had chosen when i used it. my friends and me most often played everything unlimited except for the donkey. You always use jetpack rather than rope then (mad cows + jetpack ftw), but ninja robe was the weapon that required most skill in the game imo. i can remember a tricky mission with it^^ —ZerphaThe Improver 18:45, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

(Reset indent) i love it. you can do all kinds of really fun stuff with it. ever used the swing power to give your granade a good throw range? :D - Y0_ich_halt 18:51, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- i can only remember that you could cause some sort of vibration by making it as short as possible and pusing in to one direction. you could even hurt your worm with that afair. —ZerphaThe Improver 20:52, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- you can drop granades while hanging on the rope, just like dynamites. they will fall down vertically, but if you have a nice swing it's just like throwing them :D and what sort of vibration? o.O - Y0_ich_halt 21:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- ah yes you're right. About that "vibration", i coincendially found a video on youtube that's shortly showing it. (0:05 and 0:08) —ZerphaThe Improver 21:15, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- oh btw: O.O —ZerphaThe Improver 21:18, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- that's just if you are already swinging and then make it very short, similarily to a rubber ball when it jumps only some mm. you could hurt your worm if fall damage was on, because this swinging caused massive throw power if you dropped the ninja rope. - Y0_ich_halt 21:26, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, i knew that it was caused by fall damage; but we actually always had it active as it's more interesting with it^^ —ZerphaThe Improver 21:34, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Hep me...
Ok, I don't know what's wrong. User:Lancy1214/Template/Userpage heading2 variable seems to not function. Can you take a look at it please? -- Wyn 00:55, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- rofl, i found it by coincidence. when i was testing her inclusion, i c+p'd the part for heading1, then replaced all 1s in the copy with 2s (to reproduce the code for heading2 from the assumably working heading1 code). but instead of fixing, heading3 now didn't show either. solution: the comment end tag after |content1= had a space between -- and >. therefore, the whole heading2=... part was commented out :D - Y0_ich_halt 09:42, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, so it was my bad.. I just couldn't see it/find it, and needed a fresh set of eyes to look at it before I pulled all my hair out. -- Wyn 09:44, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Gaile Gray Impersonator
Most likely, one of the characters in the username was not actually a letter, but rather a unicode symbol for something else; it's possible the "i" in "Gaile" was really the unicode symbol for the complex number "i." *Defiant Elements* +talk 21:13, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

You are an oxymoron
How can a seasoned, intelligent and capable player so often be that insulting and narrow-minded as you are? I mean, I respect your knowledge and PvP experience but sometimes (and sometimes very often) it seems that you are just another PvE hater. Please, clarify my view. - (The red is a span background to show the transparency, not working quite so well) — Ebañy Salmonderiel 20:22, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- compare File:User Y0 ich halt sig trans.png (yours) to (mine). it's exactly the same. the problem is that images at this size are for some reason a bit taller than the line height for a span. also see: . - Y0_ich_halt 20:34, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
as proof that it's really the span tag, here all the images inside a division:
- Y0_ich_halt 20:34, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
yours, too, btw: -- :) - Y0_ich_halt 20:36, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) Eh, oops. I saw the thing about inkscape on your page, and took your old sig image to do that with, didn't realise you'd already done it, two days ago. — Ebañy Salmonderiel 20:37, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and here is yours inside another span: — Ebañy Salmonderiel 20:39, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- i'm so not gonna add padding into my sig :P - Y0_ich_halt 20:40, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Got so many moves worked out, I just need to see what your next one is/will be (i.e. I can't wait to start playing again) — Ebañy Salmonderiel 09:45, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Need help with some maths
I'm trying to get a function that inputs xp and outputs your current level. This is what I have so far (where X is the xp, and L is the level): — Ebañy Salmonderiel 16:16, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Umm i dont see a point with that lol :\ are you looking at raw exp or like exp per kill? — Seru Talk 16:30, 27 September 2008 (UTC)- rofl, no. he's looking for User:Y0 ich halt/Templates/VirtualLvl. just that he (like me, too) doesn't want to describe the levels 1-23 each for its own, but with one single function. i tried it, too, and got to the result that it actually can't be put inside one function. how did you get to what you have now? - Y0_ich_halt 16:34, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- /doh i get it now. I think anet might have curved it so the survivor is it 1337million exp. (So it wouldn't be a constant function but more of a piecewise possibly?) — Seru Talk 16:41, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- Ill see what it looks like in a graph see if i can get a nice equation — Seru Talk 16:47, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) that's why i said it's not one function ;) from lvl 23 on it's linear, that's for sure, but before that... it's a function of growth that is neither linear nor logistic or exponential. that means the best you could do is define functions for each two or three steps. - Y0_ich_halt 16:54, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- @seru: i have a calculator that can automatically calculate rational functions and functions of growth only from coordinates given, and there is not a single one that even starts at (0|0) (as the calculator will return an average function if there's no fitting one). - Y0_ich_halt 16:54, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. I gotz a 86, 89, 92 around. Hmm im not sure then. — Seru Talk 17:02, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Thanks for that template, Y0. That's nearly what I needed (but I can use #ifexpr to limit it 0-20). — Ebañy Salmonderiel 17:14, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- check the template code, that's exactly what it does ;) - Y0_ich_halt 17:19, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, I want it to display a number from 0-20 for the level, not, say, 42. PS. want to carry on that game of chess?— Ebañy Salmonderiel 17:28, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- that's a nice idea. i'll add it into my template. i totally forgot people could want that, too, since i intended it to be used for calculation of the level your character would have without lvl cap :D - Y0_ich_halt 18:02, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Duet
I'm beginning work on a composition as of right now. I should have it done within the week if school doesnt decide to bombard me..... -- Wandering Traveler 16:58, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- ok. feel free to make mine a bit challenging... ;) - Y0_ich_halt 17:03, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- know what? i'll also compose something and we just play both of them. how about that? :D - Y0_ich_halt 17:04, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
