On a completely unrelated note, I'm thinking of getting RoM soon, there are only a couple of things keeping me from getting it right now, time constraints being some of them. I'm also debating getting a Wii cause I wanted to try brawl with shard, but that's more of a monetary issue. The problems I have with RoM are more serious. I mainly play older NES and SNES on my Wii. Zelda:TP was my main exception to that. Though, I should mention when we have dinner parties we do often play Mario Kart because its 4 player. We had Brawl, but I'm more of a Street Fighter player and just couldn't get into it. As far as consoles go, I'm glad I got the Xbox for Adrin...especially because of the Ghostbusters game. Unfortunately, the multi-player on GB wasn't what I hoped for and I was at first bummed I had to play the Rookie with no option of playing as one of the guys, but the story and whole game itself was so awesome I started feeling like I was in a GB movie interacting with Harold and Dan that I stopped noticing. RoM I love! Myself, Adrin, Underwood, Venture and Shard all play together and we really enjoy it. The boys are pretty far into end game areas on their mains, but I have a lower level Priest and my Rogue is lvl 30 so I can back track to the areas you'll be at when you start.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 00:45, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

SSF4

IDK if you've been following it, but it looks really good. If I owned any consoles I'd get it, Hakan is pretty much the best character ever. It sounds like they did some good nerfs to Ryu and Sagat so they aren't so dumb and buffed some chars like Dan to be viable. Too bad Fei still sounds like he's gonna be garbage :(. I've been watching it pretty closely. I'm looking forward to Juri...her moves look very fluid. Adon is nice to see again from waaaaay back in the day. I probably won't play him, but its still cool to see him. I know they did some re-balancing with Vega too, which I'm happy about because he really needed some buffs and a better, more viable ultra. Yeah Tatsu owns, I know him :D. But just because you can win with a bad character doesn't mean anything, there are quite a few Japanese players in 3S who play a mean Q/Hugo, but you still have to invest a lot more work with Claw and play a more perfect game than other characters. Characters like Sagat can be played far more carelessly and still win but Claw needs to be really on the ball, have perfect zoning, and really not make any mistakes ever. Going off player impressions, it seems like they made every character on the top end weaker and brought up the bottom end slightly, rather than bringing every character up to say Sagat level, which is good tbh. DLC woulda been nice but they added too much stuff for it, I think MS has a DLC size limit on the 360 anyways. Plus buyable downloadable characters like costumes would be pretty unfair I think. Oh and about your Goliaths thing, sorry but they passed out. Anti-air for Terran is very different and small now. Thor's are good against light air unit's such as Mutalisks, but they suck against armored ones such as Carriers, Battlecruisers. Vikings are strong vs armored ones but weak against light. Aww thank you for the compliment, my monk appreciates it. But yeah, I quit reading on this stuff a while ago as it just gets sillier and sillier. I don't play anymore so there is no further reason to comment beyond my /rage. I made my point and said what I needed to say and with that I understand that I am not the type of customer Anet wants to cater too, and that is their choice. I can live with that, as there are many other game companies who do want and respect my business. I miss this game, or what it was rather, I do, but those days are long gone and its time to move forward. I will admit that 2005-2006 was the most fun I ever had playing a game thanks to my Pi boys. I'm grateful to this game though, because through it I met some life long friends--Shard, Purge, Underwood you and many others. Purge went to my wedding, Underwood is at my house like every weekend, so yes, a lot of good came from this game.

Adrin did them on his first character through, so I was able to complete them within my main-game in "real time" (if that makes sense?) as opposed to after beating the initial campaign. Oghren never left my party once I got him, he looks beastly in full heavy armour and I loved his dialogue + when he falls over drunk in your camp. I was mainly sad because my mage ended up with Alistair and my rogue is currently going after Zeveran (after hitting up Leilana lol), so it feels a bit unfinished not having those 2 available to continue their story together. I traded off Oghren and Alistair for my mage, and Sten is a staple with my rogue. It kinda sucks though with my rogue that both romances (besides Alistair, who I didn't bring this time around because he was already glued to my mage's hip last time) are the same class she is, and don't get to adventure with the party as I don't need 2 rogues. I will be playing on my warrior noble next and I haven't decided who she's going with--Alistair is the obvious choice in some ways, as his "marriage" to my mage wasn't "official" but again, I don't need 2 warriors.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 19:08, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

My warrior went with Morrigan but I must have done something too good, because last time I checked she doesn't like him. I didn't get Leliana first time through so I got her on my rogue and I got the achievement for recruiting all characters last night after getting Loghain on my rogue. I wish Alistair and Loghain could both be in your party, their dialogue would be good. My favourite along with Oghren is probably Morrigan. My party tends to be me, Alistair/Loghain, Morrigan/Oghren, then Wynne. I personally don't like Sten as it's hard to get his approval up.

After killing the Archdemon, I remember at least Zevran, Sten, Alistair and Leliana saying they would travel with you, it's a shame they don't stay in Awakening. I mainly want Return to Ostagar for Cailan's armour, which will mean all my rogue's companions will have nice armour - Loghain doesn't even come with 38 strength for Juggernaut armour, so he needs to gain another level through DLCs so he'll also look amazing.--h. moo. 19:42, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

I totally forgot about Loghain. Did Alistair leave your team when you let Loghain live? I know he has a spazz if he's in the party at the time because I tried to reason with him to let me at least let Loghain live, but he was adamant that I kill Loghain or he would, so I just blew him up with Death Hexes. Adrin killed Loghain his mage too. Alistair and my mage stayed to reform the Grey Wardens at the end, though Leliana and Zev offered to let me go wander with them. If I recall, Adrin went off with Leliana after Morrigan dumped him.

I had 100 approval with all my party members. With Sten, pick the either the rudest or most direct replies such as "you will because I say so" and he will always respect you. If you try and be friendly or say nice things to kiss his ass like you do the other party members, he gets mad. After he approves, you can be friendly with him and he won't care.

On my mage I did Alistair/Oghren, Wynne, Leliana/Zev (mainly Leliana because she was better at lock picking) but at the very end vs the Archdemon I took Morrigan for 2x pew pew. Her and I would sync cast big spells like Fireball with me micro'ing Wynne to cast Grease it was hilarious. Yeah, Rolain or w/e he's called suggests it, Alistair rages, and Anora executes Alistair or lets him live if you want, but I just let him die. If you've ever encountered maps as gifts, they're Loghain's preferred gifts.

When I fought the Archdemon I ran me as a Warrior, Alistair, Oghren and Wynne. 3 Warriors were hitting huge damage.

This time around I want to run me, Loghain, Morrigan and Wynne, and on my mage I might take 2 rogues or something weird because she kills everything anyway, but it's all on hold until at least tommorow, and probably longer with exams. --h. moo. 20:57, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
