Walkthrough

Talk to Jiaju Tai in Lions Arch to gain access to D'Alessio Seaboard (explorable area). The party will spawn at the beach south of the village Hakewood.

If any party member has Temple of the Intolerable active, there are no hostile White Mantle inside the village. Talk to Dinas (at the west gate), then leave the village through the northern gate. Otherwise, the party will have to fight through the village. Avoid engaging multiple groups at once.

Zaln the Jaded can be found just north of Hakewood, along with a small mob of White Mantle and a Jade Cloak or a Jade Armor.

Removing Zaln the Jaded would be a great blow to the White Mantle's ability to train new forces. Gain passage to D'Alessio Seaboard from Jiaju Tai in Lion's Arch and teach this malevolent mentor a lesson in pain! Queen Salma will generously compensate those who undertake this challenge."

After completion of The Battle for Lion's Arch

Until he was permanently removed from Tyria by bounty hunters, Zaln the Jaded was a great thorn in the side of the rebel movement. Recreate this historical scenario; gain passage to D'Alessio Seaboard from Jiaju Tai in Lion's Arch, and teach this malevolent mentor a lesson in pain! Those who successfully re-create this historical battle will earn the Queen's bounty!"
